Karin is a lovely host. She speaks limited English but we were able to communicate no problem. She was accommodating, helpful and made us feel at home. The apartment has everything that you need and is located in a nice neighborhood. For those looking for a place to stay during Ironman Hamburg, consider this one. The U-Bahn station is about 7 min away on foot. From there, you're 3 stations away from the IM action. Highly recommend this hostess and this apartment.

I booked this as I had to attend a workshop by the University of Hamburg in the Bundesstrasse and did not want a hotel along the main roads. This was a good choice: it is really quiet at night so you can sleep with the windows open. The bedroom is at the front of the house and has only high up windows but these can be opened. Enough supermarkets/restaurants in the neighbourhood and close enough to the Uni buildings and Schlump metro station. This is an older building so the basement appertment has high ceilings and wooden floors, and French doors to the garden. The furniture was adequate, the bed was good and the host very friendly and reacheable. The absolute highlight for me: having breakfast while watching the red squirrels rummage around the garden hiding the nuts I put out for them :-)

Great stay, would definitely stay again. Only 5 minutes walk away from Schlump metro station. On a beautiful tree lined street. Very quiet. Slept so well on the cosy bed. Wonderful deep bath with plenty of hot water to soak in after a day's sightseeing. Really good kitchen, well equipped for all your cooking needs. Nice living room to chill in and a wonderful garden to sit out in . Totally recommend.

This was a great stay. Frau Brandes was nice and accommodating. A couple minutes walk to the U-Bahn Schlump, a couple minutes to Edeka, Aldi or a laundromat. We liked it a lot.

We spent 4 days at Karine's place and really liked our stay. First the area is close to the center, the lake, museums and parks. We used our bikes and many things were 10 mn ride (there are also public transports but we did not use them). We also could park our car in front of the house, in a very calm and nice street. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and to cook at home if you need. The bedroom is a little dark (small window) but it's the only "downside". Nice little garden - due to the weather we did not enjoy it so much, but it was a nice view. The landlord lives upstairs so our path crossed, very nice person, helped us with everything we needed!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was located in a quiet residential area and close to transit, shopping and bakeries. When the weather allowed, we spent mornings and evenings on the patio in the back. Frau Brandes was kind and welcoming. We would gladly stay here again.

The basement flat was lovely. Very spacious, quiet and well provisioned. The only minor complaint we had is that, unlike all the other apartments there was no access to English speaking TV which was a shame. But overall it was a success.

Die Wohnung liegt, wie im Inserat beschrieben, im Souterrain eines Altbaus. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind allerdings hell und gehen nach hinten raus. Dennoch liegt ein leicht muffiger Geruch in der Wohnung. DIe Eckcouch im Wohnzimmer ist schon sehr durchgesessen, ansonsten alles gut :) . Überzeugt hat sie Lage der Wohnung mit Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus sowie der Möglichkeit , unsere Fahrräder im Vorgarten sicher unterzubringen. Mit den Rädern waren wir in 10 Minuten im Zentrum.

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett. Bei der Wohnung fehlte nichts, ausreichend Platz für mind. 3 Erwachsene. Haben sehr gut geschlafen. Bäcker und Supermärkte nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Die Anbindung der Ferienwohnung an Bus und U-Bahn ist nur ein kurzer Fußweg und man ist schnell in allen Richtungen bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Hamburg hat viel zu bieten, man sollte aber Stadtführungen, Museen und Shows zuvor online buchen und planen, damit man noch Preise vergleichen kann. Wir waren auf der Reeperbahn bei einer Travestie-Show im Pulverfass, sagenhaft und nur zu empfehlen.

Prima verblijf, goede uitvalsbasis, dicht bij bus/metro, en op loopafstand van het Schanzenviertel. De wifi was eigenlijk alleen geschikt om te whatsappen. Wel 2 eekhoorntjes in de tuin! Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, we komen graag nog een keer!

Die Wohnung ist groß und gut gelegen, U-Bahn in der Nähe, trotzdem keine Probleme mit Parkplätzen. Wir waren im Herbst dort, da war es etwas zugig in der Wohnung, da Altbau mit undichten Fenstern. Die Wohnung liegt mit einer Seite im Keller und in der anderen Richtung zu einem Garten mit vielen Bäumen. Sicher schön im Sommer, aber recht dunkel im Herbst. Insgesamt könnte die Wohnung etwas mehr Pflege vertragen, war aber noch ok.

Von hier aus kann man Hamburg entdecken. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei und haben alle Sehenswürdigkeiten super erreicht. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war freundlich und die Schlüsselübergabe unkompliziert. Bei der Anreiseuhrzeit kam sie uns sehr entgegen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man für einen Kurztripp benötigt und war sehr sauber. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir, Ehepaar 55 + 52 Jahre jung, suchten für einen Kurzurlaub eine gemütliche Bleibe. Hamburg besuchen, etwas ausspannen, ein paar Sightseeings, Kopf frei machen, Seele baumeln lassen. Wir waren echt glücklich die Wohnung gefunden zu haben. Wir sind keine Fan´s von Hotels...mit ihrem ewigen Service, engen Zimmern, zu teurem Frühstück. Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag die Beine hoch legen zu können, einen Wein aufmachen, es warm zu haben, gut zu schlafen... das haben wir hier gefunden. Top Lage in ruhiger Altbausiedlung,Häuser aus der Gründerzeit mit hohen Decken, Parkplatz vor der Haustür, Bäcker 100 Meter um die eine Ecke, griechisches und italienisches Restaurant um die andere Ecke...kurzum...einfach perfekt. Der Preis ist sportlich, aber das ist er in Hamburg überall...dafür kann man eine Woche sein Auto stehen lassen...U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Bus ist auch um die Ecke...in 6 Minuten an den Landungsbrücken und der Speicherstadt. Es gibt an der Wohnung nichts nennenswertes zu bemängeln, was einen Sternabzug wert wäre. Die Vermieterin ist eine toffe, voll coole Person, unkompliziert und lieb. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Domizil gerne weiter...wenn Hamburg....dann hier. LG an K.

Die Fewo in Harvestehude war perfekt! Sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet, für 4 Personen ausreichend groß, nur wenige Gehminuten von der U-Bahn entfernt. Wir haben in der Woche in Hamburg die ganze Welt gesehen, zumindest kulinarisch: Griechisch, türkisch, japanisch, portugiesisch, Pakistanisch und französisch - und das alles in der Nähe und zu Fuß. Die Wohnung liegt in einer wunderschönen ruhigen Straße und ich kann sie jedem Hamburg-Urlauber nur empfehlen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war absolut problemlos und freundlich.
