Authentic traditional farmhouse from 1840, carefully restored to the highest standards by the owners' son, a "companion carpenter", located on a balcony on a south-facing hillside in a peaceful rural hamlet nestled in the middle of rolling hills and mountains. Total tranquility nestled on the edge of fields and meadows under the wooded ridges of a small forest, overlooking a bucolic bocage valley nestled at the foot of Mont Dardon (506m), the former site of a Gallic oppidum offering a panoramic view of almost 360° as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day! Magnificent landscape and panorama of the surrounding countryside. Vast natural property of 1 hectare located 5 km from the village center (the largest commune in Saône-et-Loire with 71 km²), charming, typical and commercial village (featuring, among other things, a listed 12th-century Romanesque church and a 19th-century "Glacière" (icehouse) that is almost unique in Burgundy), with two fishing ponds, known for having hosted Irène Némirovsky during the war (the famous French writer who posthumously won the Renaudot Prize for her novel "Suite Française").
