About this house rental
The Cocoonr agency is offering this authentic 19th-century stone house in Jaligny-sur-Besbre for rent. It has a floor area of 250 m² and can accommodate up to 10 guests.
It comprises a lovely 25 m² living area, a fitted kitchen, five spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and you can enjoy a garden of around 2,000 m². Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you!
The property is laid out as follows:
Ground floor:
- A 25 m² living room with dining area
- A lounge with a sofa, armchairs and a TV
- A fully equipped kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob…
- Bedroom 1: master suite with a queen-size bed (160x200) and an en-suite shower room (with shower)
- A separate toilet
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 2: one queen-size bed and one single bed (160x200)
- Bedroom 3: two single beds
- Bedrooms 4 & 5: two single beds in each
- A bathroom (with bath)
- A separate toilet
For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, tumble dryer, fan, iron and ironing board.
Outdoors:
- A large, enclosed garden with trees, covering 2,000 m², is perfect for al fresco dining, games or simply relaxing in peace and quiet
The house is ideally situated in Jaligny-sur-Besbre, in a very pleasant, secluded setting.
There are various activities available within a 15 km radius:
– A visit to the villages of Jaligny and Chavroches allows you to admire the magnificent façades of their châteaux.
– Canoeing on the Besbre from the Jaligny base
– Visits to the châteaux of Lapalisse and Thoury and the gardens of the Château de Beauvoir
– The PAL theme park
Further afield, within a 30 km radius, you can visit Vichy (spas, shopping areas, racecourse, water sports centre) and Moulins (theatre costume museum, summer light show, visits to museums and historic monuments)
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the garage (1 car) and in the house’s private courtyard (up to 5 cars).

- Bed linen and towels are provided
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please ensure the property is left in a reasonably clean condition and that kitchen appliances are cleaned after use
