About this cabin rental
This charming cabin, 'Deer Run,' is situated on a beautiful, private setting, surrounded by Hemlocks, Mountain Laurel, Rhododendron, and Holly Trees at 3,000 feet on the top of Black Knob Mountain. Located in Pisgah Forest Estates, the cabin is in a private neighborhood, secluded from the main house where the owners live.
It has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a spacious loft with twin beds, two full baths, a great room with a cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, sunroom, covered back porch, and a stack washer and dryer. The cabin has two TV's one with a built-in DVD player, and WiFi. There is a Tesla Charger available on the property upon request.
You will love this location. It is so close to spectacular waterfalls and hiking trails. Written in Bike Magazine, Brevard is home to some of the best bike riding in the country. Also close is Brevard Music Center, renowned nationwide for its summer musical presentations. The Flat Rock Theatre only 16 miles from our cabin provides an incredible array of plays, musicals, and concerts. If you just want to stay on top of the mountain, there are miles of scenic trails you can explore.

Very comfortable home base for our stay in mountains. The kitchen is adequate for cooking most anything and there is a grill although we didn’t use it.We took a few waterfall hikes in DuPont and Pisgah forest and of course had to stop by sliding rock. Ran out of time to visit Cradle of Forestry but I think it would be interesting. Enjoyed several restaurants in Brevard including The Square Root, Corky’s Dog house and Pisgah Bakehouse.Location is very quiet as distant from traffic noise but still very accessible to everything in area. This is our second stay in property and we would stay again when visiting area.

Even though you will see other homes on the drive up, once you arrive, you will settle in to the peace and quiet of this home surrounded by trees and beauty. The home is comfortable and lovely - the arrowhead collection alone is amazing - but the beauty of the property and feeling like there are no neighbors is magical. This was just what we needed. Thank you.

Beautiful and immaculate cabin in the woods... Easy drive to Dupont State Forest and Pisquah National Forest for hiking which was the purpose of our trip... The waterfalls are beautiful! Also, not far from downtown Brevard for shops and restaurants! Sandra, the host was always available and very helpful... Wonderful working fireplace for chilly evenings. Property itself is lush and green with both a front and a back porch. What else could you ask for! We will definitely return here if we are in the area again. Would highly recommend this property.

Host was borderline rude. I drove in from the northeast and ended up arriving an hour early and was told the home was not ready yet and needed another 30 min. I was fine with this but asked if I could use the restroom while I waited and was told to go in the woods. Which I did.
