This spacious, custom built home has nearly 5,000 square feet and is beautifully designed both inside and out. Generous sized rooms throughout and living area is spread out between three levels. The great room on the main level features a soaring cathedral ceiling, 2-sided field stone wood burning fireplace and massive windows that provide stunning lake views of 580 acre Pickerel Lake. The home features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including a large master suite that has a whirlpool tub, shower, and sauna. The lake side deck provides ample space for the whole family. Level approach to the 840' of water frontage on Pickerel Lake is like nothing you've seen before. The property is surrounded by water on 3 sides and sits on 3+ acres of land. There are two 3-car garages (one attached/one detached), a huge circle driveway, landscaped grounds, a permanent wharf, a floating pier and so much and more!

Even though there were houses fairly close, the property felt secluded and was extremely quiet. It was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen was well stocked with needed items. The only issue we had was getting enough air upstairs to the bedrooms in order to be somewhat comfortable; in order to do this it was freezing downstairs most of the time. But overall it was a beautiful house, the numerous tables where very useful for a family of 13. We can't wait to return for next years family vacation.

The cabin is nice (a bit oddly laid out) likely due to an addition, but definitely the nicer end of homes I've stayed at over the last 30 years.
Master bedroom was freezing cold at night, despite trying to turn up the thermostat - it took us an additional night to find the extra blankets.
We paid the pet fee to bring our dog and we were told to clean up after her (we did). However, it is clear that nobody else has done so as the backyard was full of dog "deposits" from past guests.
My biggest gripe though, is that for the price, we were given only two "pods" for the dishwasher, one partial roll of papertowles and expected to bring our own bathroom towels. This was under the guise of lack of "manpower" but we had bath mats for the floors....Based on what we paid, providing towels to dry ourselves off isn't too much to ask (nor would be a few bottles of shampoo),
The property is very nice, fire pit was great and view wonderful. The kids had a nice time, just wish we had had some snow and ice to go along with our trip (what a weird year weatherwise!)

This is a large home which allowed the group of nine of us to spread out. I loved that there was a separate room with a TV towards the back of the house for those who were gamers. There was plenty of dishes etc. in the kitchen. I enjoyed the decor and the artwork in the house. There was some confusion as to which day and where the garbage should go out and when I called they told me the wrong day of the week. But we were able to get it out on the correct day-but they should mention that it is picked up very early.
All in all we had fun and it's a lovely house. We used the same rental company to rent a pontoon which was dropped off the day day we got there and picked up the day we left. That was a big plus and I would recommend doing that if you are interested. Also the listing does not mention the bunk room in the basement for extra sleeping space if needed. It might be a plus to know that. The AC could be a little stronger in the upstairs bedrooms. But all in all it's a great house for a larger group.
