Ballycreek has been completely remodeled and reimagined to offer 8 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and sleeping accommodation for up to 18 people! Guests are welcomed into the home through an expansive dining and kitchen area, perfectly appointed to entertain your family and friends. Enjoy evening cocktails around the dining room bar with a wine and beer fridge for your favorite spirits and libations.
There are three different living areas to ensure your guests have the space to stretch out and unwind! A gas fireplace is in the main living room with a large tv and comfortable seating for late night movies after a sun-filled day on the lake. The lower-level family room is also a great space to cool off after a long day; challenge your friends to a game of pool or use the downstairs walkout door to race back down to the lake!
Like the rest of the property, every aspect of the kitchen is brand new and perfectly appointed for a carefree lake vacation. With new counters and cabinets and all the items you need to entertain and dine in, there is almost no reason to leave the house after you arrive! A large lakefacing patio features plenty of seating for picnics and a charcoal grill for classic cookouts under the stars!
Walk down to the lake front to the brand-new dock, with seating and a platform that’s perfect for fishing right off the pier! A lakeside firepit completes the shoreline, late night s’mores will be even more memorable with the lake just beyond the flames. Kayaks and life jackets have been provided to help you get right out on the water – paddling the lake is the best way to see eagles soaring above.
Ballycreek is located just minutes from downtown Minocqua and walking distance from some of the best new restaurants in the area! This property is perfect for a large family to comfortably enjoy the living quarters. The 8 bedrooms are at one end of the building allowing “the littles” to go to sleep earlier than the adults with no need to worry about making too much noise to disturb their slumber. Both the main level and lower level have a family room with a tv and the lower level has a pool table. A wine/beer cooler in the bar area, in addition to the fridge, came in handy. The lake isn’t crowded with fellow boaters so we boated, tubed, and fished at our leisure. The dock was nice and the children could walk right into the lake from shore. It obviously isn’t a sandy beach but nice with water shoes. The creek that is on the property adds an element of enjoyment for the children. We spotted turtles, otters, ducks, and eagles. The property is on a busy highway but that isn’t a danger for the children as the very large parking lot and landscaping offer a large buffer from the highway and all activities (outdoor patio, two campfire areas, creek and lake are in the backyard.) The staff that answers the 800 # number when you call are very kind and the maintenance man was prompt and knowledgeable (we had one bed that needed repair to its mattress support boards) upon arrival. Issue was fixed that day and overall the beds and pillows were comfortable. Our only complaint was inadequate supply of: toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags and paper towels - plans to bring some or shop for supplies.

Plenty of room for a group. Beautiful view of the lake. Stairs and path to pier and kayaks. Slow to fix a leak, understand that it was 4th of July. Also not a fan of 8am checkout. Very unique property.

The rooms were all in one area, which made it easy to keep all the students together. There was an ample number of parking spots and a black top for us to use for activities. There was a time when someone drove up to the lodge and got out during one of our activities, and we didn't know who it was. We assumed they owned the property because they were able to access the shed. This was a perfect place for our gathering.
