At your arrive you will be received by an enchanting pathway flanked by cypress trees that will lead you into this gorgeously landscaped property.
Large arched windows will welcome you in the bright main lounge of the villa, that according to country-style tradition is the true hub of the house. All the ground floor rooms overlook the magnificent floral garden; and on the upper levels large windows allow the Tuscan landscape to break into the rooms, providing a splendid frame of the Tuscan hills as far as the eye can see.
4 luminous suites with marble en-suite bathroom, equipped with fine linen (bed sheets, Towels, blankets), slippers, Welcome set for bathroom, bathrobes and pool towels.
In the sitting area two comfortable sofas will allow you to watch a sports game on the flat screen TV Sat, or even entertaining conversations in front of a crackling fireplace on early Spring or Autumn.
In the centre of the dining area stands an ancient Tuscan style table, enriched by a magnificent 18th century chandelier. Finally two large windows-door open out directly onto the garden, where a beautiful sitting area under a pergola runs the entire length of the house overlooking the valley. So you could comfortably move between indoor and outdoor for grilling at the barbecue, serving meals or enjoying a glass of wine. With its bucolic view and the gentle summer breeze, this pergola is the ideal shaded spot for friends and family to gather for leisurely meals, conversations or drinks.
The panoramic HEATED swimming pool (12 x 6mt / 39 x 19.5ft ) is completely immersed in the green of the vineyard. Two lovely gazebos are also added to the outdoors by the pool: one with a covered sitting room; one with fresh canvas and shaded lounge-chairs.
Although Summers in Italy can be hot, a number of our guests have expressed an interest in HEATED pool especially on Spring and Autumn periods. A well-heated pool lets you enjoy the view and the fun of swimming long after the day’s heat has gone or even if it’s a crisp spring morning. And finally the sitting chairs on the panoramic deck make it the perfect spot to soak in the Tuscan sun with a cool drink in hand at the sunset.
For your maximum comfort the villa is fully Air-conditioned (Not Included), anyway – if you love to sleep with open windows to let the nightly breeze on – any bedroom has one window equipped with screen. The villa has also free Wi-Fi connection throughout the building and by the pool area, and the suite on the top floor is even equipped with a kitchenette featured with a small fridge and a stove top.
The villa is supplied with 2 hairdryers, microwave, toaster, Nespresso Machine and American coffeemaker, dishwasher and refrigerators, cookware, dinnerware, glassware and kitchen utensils, dishtowels and table clothes. Extra blankets and pillows are provided, with kitchen staples (salt, sugar, pepper, tea and many spices), dish soap and trash bags.
But La Valiana will catch you even by its great location. Easily reachable by the main highway (Siena-Perugia) and motorway (A1 Rome-Florence), this villa is the perfect location for any trip to the local charming village or beautiful cities of Tuscany and Umbria too. And right along the same street of the villa, you can enjoy the visit the most important winery of Montepulciano.
