South Kihei Beach Retreat / Walk to Kamole Beach 2 / Restaurants & Shops / AC

This was the perfect condo for us. Nice walking distance to the beach and many of the restaurants and shops we love. Orrin and Heidi were great hosts. They are fast to respond. Also they were very kind and understanding when had delays with our flights to Maui. The lanai was perfect for morning coffee. No view of the beach but was private with all the trees and always had birds singing to you. I was grateful for the washer and dryer, it's nice to clean clothes and dry suits to take home.

The condo was perfect for my wife and I. Check-in and out was very simple, and the hosts were very quick to respond. The appliances are in good working order and there is plenty of utensils for cooking and eating. The condo is well maintained and clean. we will stay again!

Host was great! My parents needed a place asap since their hotel reservation was canceled and they were able to accommodate quickly. They responded back fast and got the condo ready before check in time! They enjoyed their stay here. If they were able to give 10 stars they would!

This condo is in a great walkable location, everything is close and the property was well cared for. This was our first time staying in a condo instead of a hotel and unfortunately we decided from this experience that it will be our last. We arrived and were informed that the in unit washer/dryer had broken and they had just put in a new one. The new washer however didn't work and we were told that we could use the washers down by the pool and use the dryer in unit to dry them. I realize that they were making the attempt to get the problem solved however we expected in unit and instead we had to pay to wash then lug a bag of heavy wet clothes back to the unit to dry. They did not offer to reimburse us for this. We also informed the owners that the bathroom drain was very slow to drain, they thanked me for letting them know but did noting to fix it. We used the kitchen sink instead. At one point near the end of the 2 weeks they said they would be by with drano but didn't come. The condo does have air conditioning but it is only a window unit in the living room and it does not reach the bedroom. There are fans but one night the fans just weren't enough, I can't imagine staying there in the middle of summer. Overall our stay was good because hey, we were in Hawaii so how bad could it be. I did a lot of research before booking and read all the great reviews. We unfortunately, were left unimpressed with our stay.
