An amazing house in a quite neigborhood in the old town. Beautifully renovated. All looks exactly like shown on the pictures. Around the corner you find a mini market, coffee shops, bakery, restaurants and the sea is only 5 minutes walk away (no sand, rocks but super nice). We arrived from a long journey and would have loved the house to be a bit cooler (we arrived with an inside temp of 32degrees) and it would have helped us to get instructions how to get the best out of the AC's. After 2-3 days we reached inside 23 degrees. For the grandparents the stairs were a bit difficult to climb cause there is no handrail to hold on to. That could be also a bit difficult with smaller children.Summery: we would come back! And if we move to Crete we will contact the company to help us renovating our property.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough - it was amazing. Not only is it stylish and beautifully decorated, it contains everything you would need and more. It was also spotlessly clean. Usually when on holiday, the time spent in our accommodation is minimal but this time we all enjoyed relaxing in the villa. The property is also in a fabulous location, right in the heart of the old town and minutes away from many shops, restaurants and the beach. We communicated with hosts via WhatsApp and they were very responsive. We didn’t have any issues but I felt confident they would have dealt with them efficiently if we had. The only downside was the car parking. There are several free car parks and road parking nearby but spaces were at a premium due to the number of tourists staying in Rethymnon who don’t have parking at their property. Given that we didn’t use the car all week, we will investigate getting a taxi from the airport next time and just hire a car for a day, as and when we need one..
