Byblos villa walking distance to Everything with Private Pool & BBQ

Sensational property - spacious, plenty of separate areas, many bathrooms - great for getting ready. Pool and outdoor sitting & rooftop areas were magnificent. Location very good.

Parking bit difficult - don’t use paid parking around corner (major ripoff!!!!) Free parking 5 min walk. Had to chase up missing towels.

This is a stunning town house in a perfect location in the heart of the old town. right near shops and restaurants but surprisingly quiet. Indeed, it is a quiet residential street and the neighbours like it that way! The villa has everything and in this summer heat it was awesome to have a pool. The villa has multiple different sun terraces providing spots in the shade or sun for coffee or drinks throughout the day and evening. Rethymno old town is the best centre in Crete - simply buzzing and beautiful. friendly, helpful concierge.

no serious complaints. the pool guy maybe could do a bit more to keep the pool water perfectly crystal in the summer heat. we were a bit disappointed to chase getting the pool a bit cleaner. The mid week clean was just a towel and sheet change and not actually a clean of the villa. it might have been that we misinterpreted what was included but we had expected the villa to be cleaned and were a bit disappointed to do this ourselves. the midweek clean did not include trash removal even though this was mentioned in the villa brochure and on-site book. we didn't know how to dispose of trash in the middle of the old town and found having trash waiting for collection to be a bit smelly. if the owners take these little niggles on board and address them, this villa will be perfect.
