With amazing gulf views, breathtaking sunsets, and steps to the beach, Shellfish Cottage is an elegantly appointed 3BD/2BA home with two separate living areas. The secondary living area converts to a private bedroom with a sleeper sofa and barn doors. This well designed home offers privacy for everyone and the furnishings are of the finest design. In the private backyard oasis, enjoy hours lounging around the pool featuring a waterfall, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing under the covered pavilion, or grilling your “catch of the day”. Conveniently located in the backyard is a small garage converted outdoor bar/kitchen with a refrigerator, sink and ice maker, and a full bathroom. This tropical outdoor oasis provides hours of relaxation and fun!

When you are ready to hit the beach you will find miles and miles of natural beauty for you to explore. Grab a pole and go shore fishing, stroll on the beach looking for shells, splash in the refreshing salt water, relax and soak up some rays, there is something for everyone.
Linens/Supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener.
Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year.
Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.
Security: Exterior surveillance cameras are in use.
Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.
Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.
Boat Parking: Boat parking is allowed at this home.
Monthly Rental: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season. Please send a message to the property manager if you are interested.
Pet Friendly: This property is not pet-friendly and is an animal free zone due to severe allergies. If you bring a pet to this home, an automatic charge of $500 will be imposed and/or you will be asked to vacate the home immediately.
Cancellation Policy: CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.
Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.
Area construction disclaimer: Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn't begun since our photos were taken.

Beautifully decorated home. Well appointed! The layout is a bit funky but the back yard makes up for it. Wish we would have had the option to heat the pool. We will likely head back to the area for sure!

We had a great stay - the cottage is a perfect blend of being close enough to the beach to hear the waves on a quiet night, watch the gorgeous sunsets from the balcony and walk over quickly during the day (2 minutes) yet far enough away with the pool and hot tub to feel like you have your own private destination. Everything was clean and well taken care of and everyone we met was lovely. Believe it or not the pictures do not do it justice - it is even better in person (even though the pics looked great). There were two families staying and we both agreed we would come back. My only feedback for consideration is the fact you get one dishwasher pod and then on check out you are asked to put the dishwasher on - I have no problem with that (and we did do it) but then be a bit more generous with the pods. But literally that was our only thing and if that is the case it is so minor it does not even impact the rating just a small comment.

This was our second stay at Shellfish Cottage. We love this place! An easy, quick walk to the beach is great and makes it easy with young kids. The house is beautiful, clean, and provides all the tools you need to cook great meals. My only complaint this time is that the hot tub did not work our entire stay. I informed the company on Monday and they send someone out Tuesday. He told us he could not figure it out and would ask someone else. We never heard from anyone after that. We book this house specifically for the outdoor area, so that was a big letdown for us. We'd like to stay again, but we did feel like the problem was slightly pushed to the side.

The use of cameras to monitor the pool area made us extremely uncomfortable and according to my research of Florida law makes it illegal as well. It's very frustrating to pay the amount we did and then feel u comfortable to use a space and to be monitored at all times, how can anyone feel safe sun tanning or being in the pool while be videoed honestly it's a bit weird. On top of that the pool cleaner came to the back of the house twice with zero warning or heads up from the rental company or an announcement from him he just walked in while my wife was sunscreening herself, this again is very odd considering there is an outdoor shower with this house, also the maintenance man showed up with zero announcement from the rental company and walked in to change filters while my kids were home alone, this was extremely concerning….We paid way to much money to be intruded on and videoed the entire time….Its really unacceptable
