About this cottage rental

Cozy cottage with a nice size yard. Close to Lake and Orchard public boat launch. Or take a 10 minute drive to the Spillway, fish hatchery, and feed the huge fish. A 7 minute drive to the causeway where you can fish and/or rent a boat. And of course stop by Yorkie's ice cream shop.

Too many great things to mention. Jennifer, the host, responded well and was so courteous. The house was clean and had lots of extra amenities (fishing poles, games. Toiletries. Many extras for you to discover, nice home feel with the decorations. Easy to get into the house at any hour, washer and dryer, good coffee and tea, wifi, good cell signal, great TV, etc). Will hope to stay here again when up for another visit to my sister.

Second time at cabin . Only this time we got 2 weeks. We love every minute of it. We fished every day. The parking was great we had pontoon 3 cars fit in . Ice machine in kitchen was great. We had plenty of space. Jen was such a great host.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The place was large enough for us to spend time together and to have personal space. Our host was extremely responsive to our communication and kind in her feedback. The s'mores fixings were a nice personal touch. I would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family and would also return myself. Probably when the weather is better so we can enjoy outdoor activities.

This is our second visit to the Lake Cottage. Our first was Fall of 2023. We had a great visit then and equally as great this year. The host has made some updates to the cottage, most importantly a more comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Everything was clean and the host really thinks of the guests needs to make them happy and comfortable. The Lake Cottage is our go-to place to stay when in the Pymatuning area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage, which has everything you need. There is a coffee bar that is fully supplied and every toiletry you could need in the bathroom. Most of all, it is extremely clean and is decorated with a lot of little special touches. Would definitely stay here again.

Property listings and photos, on very few occasions, represent a rental for it's strengths or weaknesses. What I can tell you is that this property is far better than any picture can depict. I write zero reviews, but I was compelled to write this one, not only praising the rental itself, but also the owner/manager, Jennifer. The layout and cleanliness of this camp is unrivaled to any I've ever been in at Pymatuning. I took my brothers-in-law and uncle up to fish for 3 days, and this camp had it all down to soare toothbrushes and tooth paste. There were toiletries and sundries available throughout. Tea, coffee, spices, sweetners, youname it, they had it. All kitchen appliances including a dishwasher, and also a washer and dryer. I almost hate writing this because it will make future rentals for me, much harder. Also, we were between heating and cooling seasonal temps, and when I asked Jennifer about air conditioning, she promptly sent a 2 man crew to install window units for us. I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience, I couldn't ask for anything more.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Cottage. Exactly as shown on-line. Lots of personal touches to make the guests feel welcomed. Clean - especially the bathroom which is important to me. The host really thought of the guests needs. This will be our "go to" cottage when vacationing in the Pymatuning area!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was impeccably clean, had lots of new items—like linens, towels and small appliances. There were updates throughout. The added touches of coffee bar, s’mores tote, first aid kit and TV with streaming were great. We utilized the lake for most of each day and liked being able to cook meals and enjoy the fire pit outside once back at the rental. The beds were comfortable.
