About this house rental
Nestled within Mediterranean greenery, Finca La Gaviota boasts a view of the sea and the mountains and is located in Icod de Los Vinos. The beautiful finca is made up of 8 holiday rentals. The holiday apartment El Rincón consists of a living room with a sofa bed for one person, a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 3 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi and a television. A baby cot, a highchair and a first aid kit are also available upon request. There is also a washing machine available for your use, which is shared with the guests of 3 other apartments. Furthermore, the apartment boasts a private covered terrace where you can enjoy delicious meals with your loved ones. There is also a communal outdoor area, which is shared with the guests of 7 other properties and includes a pool (open all year round), a beautiful garden with palm trees, a parking area, a barbecue and an outdoor shower. Here you will also find a shared jacuzzi, which can be used for an additional charge. Please contact the homeowner in advance regarding this. Within a 6-minute drive you will reach restaurants, bars, cafes and the nearest supermarket. The beautiful beaches of Playa de la Gaviotas and Playa de Santo Domingo also await your visit a 7-minute drive from the property. Parking spaces are available on the property. Pets are allowed. Bed linens and towels are included in the price. The communal spaces should not be used between and 22:00 and 7:00. People who are not guests are strictly forbidden to enter the property. No visitors can be received as no more occupants can be declared with respect to the guests of the reserve. As defined by the Institute for Spanish tourist quality in the document Measures to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, we are obliged to register all occupants of the accommodation on arrival and verify their identity through personal identification documents. This register of occupants must be provided to the State Security Forces. All this, according to the current legal framework, for security reasons, and, in the context of COVID-19, in order to also facilitate the traceability of the occupants due to a possible epidemiological outbreak.

Beautiful gardens with bountiful tropical fruit trees, lovely hot tub and pool to enjoy time in. But you need to have a strong stomach to cope with the drive down from the main road and I wouldn't want to walk it as the slope was very steep. We kept hoping to never meet anyone coming the other way as the road isn't wide enough to pass and you can't always see whether someone is coming until it's too late.
Bungalow was very nice and the views over Teide and the sea were amazing. Perhaps add some information into the bungalows about local facilities such as where the supermarkets and restaurants are located and local beaches etc? While you can easily find these things on the internet, suggestions are always helpful.

A lovely property - perfectly suited for two people. Plenty of space and a good sized bedroom. The shower was amazing - very hot and excellent pressure. The bungalow has a lovely garden and we caught some late afternoon sunshine some days. The host Roberto was extremely accommodating and very friendly. We got lost trying to find the bungalow when we first arrived (poor directions) so he came out to find us so we could follow him back. After that it was easy to find. The road is very narrow and quite steep in places but so worth it when you arrive as it is so quiet - quite tranquil really. I would certainly recommend this to people when visiting Tenerife

A sanctuary with a Beautiful garden full of butterflies and birds to relax in. Garden is shared with 3other cottage type of apartments with a massive bbq to cook up a feast on. Small pool up above the garden and is very refreshing. There is no beach but a walk to the coast accompanied by Maxie the dog is spectacular with amazing formation of rocks. No safe access to sea but there is a beach a short drive away. The apartment itself was very adequate - sitting/kitchen area inside small but big area outside with table, chairs and sun beds. There is a full kitchen with all facilities, shower lovely and spacious and bedroom a little dark and bed a bit hard for our liking, however we absolutely adored the quietness and it was just what we wanted. Our host Roberto was excellent and lives right beside the apartments so was always there if we needed any assistance. A car is essential and there are amazing places to visit in the area. The drive through the mountains and forest is spectacular. We will be back. Thanks Roberto for such a great holiday.
