About this apartment rental
Cute, ground level, 2 BR, 1.5 bath beach condo with large outdoor patio, between Mission Beach and Mission Bay. Walk to the beach, the Bay or to Belmont Park; a short drive to SeaWorld, Old Town and all that San Diego has to offer. Ice cream shops, various small restaurants and Starbucks all within walking distance. South facing so the afternoon sun drenches the patio. A great place for your sunny San Diego beach getaway!
You will have the entire condo, which is the lower unit of a two unit property, and exclusive use of the front patio. The unit faces onto a walkway that runs to the beach to the left and to Mission Blvd to the right.
Our condo is a quick, less than a minute, walk to Mission Beach. The covered carport can accommodate 2 standard cars in tandem, or an intermediate sized SUV or truck. There is also free parking along Mission Blvd.
The large sunny patio has a gas grill , 2 outdoor umbrella tables with seating for at least 8, as well as Adirondack chairs for relaxing in the afternoon sun, and is for the exclusive use of our guests. There are boogie boards, beach towels, beach toys and umbrellas provided.
Inside there is a cozy living room with a sofa, working desk, a cabinet with toys and games for kids and a full kitchen with Keurig machine and pods provided. We have free wireless internet, and Internet connected televisions so you can use your streaming services to enjoy your favorite shows and movies. The comfortable bedrooms have ceiling fans and extra blankets, and throws are available for chilly nights. There is a washer and dryer in the closet of the back bedroom. The full bath has a tub and shower; shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash and hair dryer provided. There is a Pak-N-Play for the youngest guests.
Mission Beach is an eclectic beach town, on a long, narrow peninsula between beautiful Mission Beach and beautiful Mission Bay. The streets in our area are all named for famous beaches around the world. There is a mixture of single-family homes, rental beach condos and small apartment complexes. The homes on our side of Mission Blvd face a common walkway, not a conventional street, which runs between the beach and Mission Blvd. There is a Starbucks along with many different small restaurants, ice cream shops, and souvenir stores within easy walking distance as well as many places to rent beach bikes, Segways, and other beach items. Belmont Park is only a five minute walk to the south. We are near Sea World which is on Mission Bay, and Mission Bay itself offers additional activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. The town of Pacific Beach, a short drive to the north, has grocery stores, gas stations and more restaurants and nightlife. There is easy access to the freeway, making it a short trip to or from the San Diego Airport, downtown San Diego, Balboa Park and the famous San Diego Zoo.

I rented this property for our first family vacation with my little one (14 months old). We loves the proximity to the beach and the layout of the property. It was absolutely perfect to take my little one to the beach every day without having to drive. It is in the prime location. The kitchen is fully supplied with everything you need to cook and we loved that there were beach chairs, beach towels, and even some sand toys. My only complaint is how dirty the floors were and the lack of accountability to clean them. My child is only 14 months old so she is on the floor constantly walking or crawling. The floors appeared very clean but within five minutes of being in the rental her feet and mine were black. I asked about a mop or a cleaning service and the owner wanted to argue about the fact that the floors weee mopped instead of doing something about it such as sending someone to clean the next day or reducing the cleaning fee. Other than this hiccup, absolutely loved this place. Great location for a beach getaway.
