The Space:

Popcorn in the theater, a shuffleboard rematch under the "Cocktails and Cactus" neon, and a poolside nightcap once the desert air cools off. That's a pretty perfect evening at A Desert Dream, our desert-modern 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath home tucked just west of Old Town Scottsdale. Restaurants and nightlife are an easy walk away, and even closer on a bike!



Where everyone sleeps:



• Bedroom 1 (upstairs): King bed, private bath with walk-in shower and freestanding tub, plus a workspace

• Bedroom 2 (upstairs): Queen bed, custom arched wallpaper, private ensuite bath

• Bedroom 3 (upstairs): King canopy bed, Jack & Jill bath shared with Bedroom 4

• Bedroom 4 (upstairs): King bed, Jack & Jill bath shared with Bedroom 3

• Bedroom 5 (main floor): Two full beds, private ensuite bath

Inside: Sunlight pours through big windows into the vaulted living room, where a huge cloud-style couch and a 70" TV face the open kitchen and dining area. Cook up a feast with stainless appliances and tons of counter space, or shake up drinks with the bar tools. Then head to the game room for pool and shuffleboard, which opens straight out to the yard. Movie night comes with theater seats, a big projector, and a popcorn machine!



Outside: Stretch out on a poolside lounger, fire up the grill, and gather around the fire pit. There's cornhole, giant Jenga, and Yardzee for the competitive crowd, plus a painted cactus mural for your group photo.



Also here: washer and dryer, pack 'n play, high chair, dog bowls, and parking for two cars.



This home works well for families, friend trips, and multi-generational groups. Four of the five bedrooms are up a flight of stairs, so the main-floor Bedroom 5 is a great pick for anyone who'd rather skip them.



Our local team is just around the corner during your stay, so all you have to plan is where to ride for dinner!

Guest Access:

The whole home, backyard, and pool are yours with easy keypad entry. The owner's closets and the detached garage apartment are locked and not part of the rental.



The Neighborhood:

You'll stay on a peaceful residential street on the edge of Old Town Scottsdale, close to all the action and quiet enough for a good night's sleep.



Food & drink: Old Town's patios, cafes, cocktail bars, and late-night spots are about a 10 to 15 minute walk, or a few minutes by bike.



Shopping & art: Galleries, boutiques, and Western-themed shops are a short ride away, and Scottsdale's big upscale mall is just a few minutes further.



Outdoors: Red rock trails at Papago Park and the famous Camelback Mountain hikes are about 10 to 20 minutes by car. Golfers have dozens of courses within an easy drive, and in spring you can walk to a spring training game!



Uber and Lyft are quick and easy to find all over the area.



Getting Around:

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is about a 15 to 20 minute drive. Once you're settled, the beach cruisers handle most trips into Old Town. The driveway holds two cars, and street parking is fine too as long as you avoid the spots in front of neighbors' homes.

The primary guest must be at least 25 years old to book.



To keep things friendly with our neighbors, quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.



This property is 100% smoke-free.



Dogs are welcome for a fee of $125 per dog, up to 2 dogs per stay. Please note this fee does not cover any potential damage caused by pets. No cats permitted.



We kindly ask that guests refrain from hosting parties or events at the property. We aim to maintain a respectful environment for our neighbors.



Four of the five bedrooms are on the upper level, up a flight of stairs.



Heated pool fee is $125/night. We recommend heating the pool in the months between October and May each year. We require at least a 3-day notice before your arrival if you'd like the pool heated. Pool must be heated for the entirety of your stay. Thank you!



GUEST VERIFICATION: To help ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, the primary guest listed on the reservation may be asked to complete a quick verification process within 48 hours of booking, depending on the platform used to book the reservation.



Prior to check-in, guests may also be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes agreeing to our rental terms and conditions and, on certain booking platforms, providing a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card before arrival.



Included with your booking is our damage waiver coverage, which helps protect against accidental, self-reported damage during your stay when reported prior to check-out.
