Age & Occupancy: The booking tenant must be 25 years or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the stay. This property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and not for worker housing.
No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited to maintain a smoke-free environment.
No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited. To help maintain a pet-free environment for all, we require every guest to confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and does not require creating an account. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.
Boating & Dockage Advisory: Due to bridges and varying water depths, it is your responsibility to ensure that your boat can safely navigate local waters, access the canal, and fit the listed dockage before booking. While we are happy to provide general information based on our knowledge of the area, guests must exercise extreme caution when boating and ensure all activities comply with local regulations.
Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.

We had a great time during our week stay!! The house was very clean and nicely cooled down on our arrival. The kitchen has almost anything you need to make your stay great. The response time for any questions we had was very quick and easy.
We had a good time exploring the area and finding great places to meet people and have great food and drinks. We will definitely book the house again!!

We had a lovely stay at the Octopus Oasis over spring break this year. The kitchen was by far the best stocked kitchen in a rental home I’ve ever seen. We cooked many meals there. We particularly loved the roof deck for morning coffee and tea and watching the sunrise. A great thing is you can watch the sunrise and the sunset from the roof deck! The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely return for another stay.

My family of five enjoyed our stay at the Octopus Oasis. The house was very clean upon our arrival and had plenty of space for each of my teens/young adults to have their own rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate almost all of our meals at the house. Other than a few spices, there are no food items, so be prepared for that. It's kind of a bummer to have to throw out so many things that are barely used and might be useful to next tenants (oil, sugar, etc). The grill was great for cooking up the fish that my husband and sons caught. You have to use your own streaming services to use the TVs, but we had no issue with that. The beds were comfy and beach towels were plentiful! The hot tub and cornhole set were used by my crew every evening. There is currently construction going on at the house right across the canal, but since we kept the A/C on with windows closed, it wasn't a bother. We found the location to be central to what we wanted to do in the Keys. The only blip we had was at the very end of our stay when the housecleaner showed up before our required departure time. She stayed outside in her car, but it did make us feel like we needed to rush. She seemed to be new (even asked my husband if she was in the right place), so hopefully this will be worked out for future renters.

House is well laid out for it's size, Property was clean. My only feedback would be to have a house book. As the one who booked, I was constantly referencing emails for rules, check out procedures, etc. Having that info available on the property would be very helpful.
