We had such a wonderful trip! This place had special touches, many “extras”and was a warm, welcoming, comfortable environment. The kitchen was well equipped as were the bathrooms and bedrooms. Aitch Boat Launch was very convenient and a nice place to launch the boat. I’d definitely come back!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home with our family! One of the biggest highlights for us was having two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor, which made things so much more comfortable and accessible for the older members of our group. All four bedrooms had incredibly comfortable mattresses—everyone commented on how well they slept. The layout of the house was perfect, with a spacious, open main living and kitchen area that gave us plenty of room to gather, cook, and relax together. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed—from cookware and dishes for a large group to thoughtful extras like spices, plastic wrap, foil, coffee, and sugar. We were even impressed to find a detailed “map” of the kitchen cabinets and drawers, which made it so easy to find what we needed. The design and décor of the home struck a perfect balance between modern comforts and historic charm—we were especially taken with the beautiful timber wall on the first floor. The whole home was spotless, well-organized, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. We loved spending time on the back patio each day, sipping coffee in the morning and enjoying a glass of wine in the afternoon.Check-in was smooth, and Mary, the host, was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed after we arrived. Our only regret is not staying longer! Three nights wasn’t enough—we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

My family enjoyed our 3 days at this home. Check in was easy. The house was as described. The house was the best equipped rental that we have experienced. It had everything we needed including paper supplies, spices, coffee and some food staples including salad dressings. There was a first aid kit and Q-tips in the bathroom. It had everything that we needed to make our time near Raystown Lake memorable. We hope to make this an annual trip.
