Be sure to check out the legendary jukebox from Duffy's Bar in downtown Chico, given to us as a wedding present! Grab the beach chairs and head to One-Mile, the local swimming park just a couple of blocks away. Or hop on a beach cruiser bike and take a ride through tree-lined streets, just a few blocks to the heart of downtown Chico. Plenty of street parking directly in front of the house. This place was so quaint and cozy! It provided the perfect home base for myself, my husband and both my parents! We were in the city from out of state, and the house was so close to the venue and downtown! The recommendations provided for local eats were spot on; we enjoyed two meals out that were fantastic! Although on a busy street, the house was quiet and the backyard provided a space that felt private and spacious! The access to the bikes was a nice surprise, and we had a blast with the bocce ball court! I would come back in a heartbeat, and would recommend to anyone that finds themselves in the area!

Chico is a small town but location is still key when choosing a place to stay. This home was perfect. Easy drive to all the places we wanted to visit and close enough to walk, if needed. The house and all its amenities were charming. Super easy check in and check out. It was a good visit.

The host was very generous to give us permission to bring 2 dogs. We really appreciated that, but there wound up being a lose fence post and our dogs got out of the yard and one of them almost got hit by a car because this house is on a busy street. The host wasn’t able to come out and fix it, so we fixed it ourselves. Other than that, everything was great.
