Relax and enjoy a newly remodeled quaint home with all the modern amenities. The main floor hosts a living/dining room, full kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower and laundry room. Upstairs, find a roomy queen and double over queen bunk room as well as a private king room. Relax on the back porch, complete with outdoor dining table, grill and hammock chair. Explore our canyon to your hearts content. Watch for wildlife, including deer, turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks and a variety of birds. Within a half hour of Zion National Park to the south and 45 minutes of Bryce Canyon National Park to the north with beauty and natural attractions all around, Lydia's Country Cottage will capture your heart and be the perfect destination for your memory making. This house is really nice. If you are looking for privacy this is it. In the woods. Perfectly situated between Bryce Canyon and Zion. We couldn’t be happier. Host communication is excellent.

Half of VRBOs seem to be folks trying to make money on a property they live far away from. Those folks beg for 5-star reviews before you've even arrived, but don't provide coffee or paper towels. The other half of VRBOs seem to be caring people who live close to the rental, people who just want you to enjoy your stay. This is one where the owners care, and it shows. If you like the idea of taking your morning coffee on the deck in a secluded canyon, with every kitchen convenience provided, then this is your place. No one will bother you, but they are there if you need something. You won't need anything, as they already thought of everything and actually turned on the lights in the place when we weren't checked in by dark. Lovely place with lovely owners. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Cottage while exploring Zion and Bryce Canyons. Especially liked the remote location of the cottage more than a mile down a dirt road and half-way between Zion & Bryce. View of stars at night was remarkable. Great place for a couple. Comfortable bed with clean linens. Adequately stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy breakfast each morning and cook meals every night. Only downside was bedroom on second floor and bathroom on first floor with stairs at opposite end of cottage meant a long walk when waking in middle of night to nature's call. Washer-dryer in cottage meant we traveled home with clean clothes. Fast and reliable WiFi. Used big screen TV each evening to watch photos and videos we had taken that day.
