**Astoria is currently undergoing a construction boom all over town so there may be some construction noise during the day.
Live like a local in this quaint, 1930's restored two bedroom house located in historic downtown Astoria. Just steps from the original settlement in the historic district, our cottage is within a few blocks of the Columbia River Maritime Museum, the Heritage Museum, the Ft. George brewery, the Bow Picker and the riverwalk. This cottage features off street parking (a rare find in downtown), laundry and a full kitchen. Park your car and walk to everything.
We are available to respond to guests needs through the app and have also posted phone numbers at the property.
This 1930's cottage is located in Astoria's historic district where a variety of beautifully restored Victorian, Mediterranean, Tudor and Craftsman homes and buildings can be seen.
We offer a secure keyless code entry that will be unique to every booking. We live very close and are available if the need arises. We provide a house manual with suggestions for activities, restaurants and house rules.
Although we accept pets, we charge an additional fee of $20/pet/night (max 2 pets allowed) to accommodate for the additional cleaning required.

The location was convenient to downtown and the house had everything we needed. The owner communicated well with us and made sure we were comfortable. We had a great weekend!

Just as advertised. Excellent location to everything. Nice and quiet. Off street parking was nice as well.

There is much to say here. We often rent homes via VRBO and other companies on the coast of OR, Central OR and other locations many times per year. Pros of this property - 1) LOCATION is great. We could walk to many fun restaurants and an amazing bakery/coffee shop and the waterfront walking zone. 2) Dog friendly -it was great to take my dog on many neighborhood walks. Our dog has special needs and this house was perfect. 3) Living room and bedroom - the furniture is nice and easy for lounging/reading. The bed is comfortable and so is the bedding. We slept well. Cons - 1) Very dirty. The bathroom is SO bad that I recommend it be gutted. The materials (tub, flooring, toilet) are all so old they are likely impossible to clean. There are many spots of what looks like black mold on the top of the bathroom walls ceiling (see photos below). All rentals appear to neglect deep cleaning in our experience. I think the daily cleaners never get enough time to do what is needed. The bathroom sink does not drain. The tub is too old and has pink mold that won't wash off with the cleaner in the house. The shower is very narrow (with the human on the inside) and the old /dirty shower curtain liners stick to your body while you try to clean up. That feels gross. Replace all of the face plates and switches for lights and oven drip plates. The windows on the inside are black with dirt around the panes of glass. Lots of cob webs and dust bunnies in corners on the floor.
