Close by, the grounds of Gregynog Hall offer year round interest including extensive woodland with waymarked walks and fine trees, rhododendrons and spring bulbs. Gardening enthusiasts and history lovers too will also delight in a visit to Powis Castle, 16 miles, a medieval fortress soaring dramatically above its world famous gardens. Spectacular location if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Spacious barn and garden. Squeaky bed in main room and sofas a bit worn but wouldn’t stop us coming back. Great views from the lovely hot tub

I stayed here with my family from which there were 9 of us and two dogs. The place was amazing, spacious and catered for all of us. The hot tub and sheep as neighbours were a highlight for us and offered great views of the rolling hills. Would stay again for sure.

We came here to celebrate a big birthday and it definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s so clean and tidy and has everything you would need. The hot tub is AMAZING and is stunning in the night and anytime of day really! Only thing is, there could be more outdoor lighting. We were never bored and always found something to do nearby or in the barn. Definitely recommend and would definitely go back, best weekend!!
