Woodhall Spa (6 miles) offers the ’Kinema in the Woods’ - a unique cinema experience - the summer swimming lido, tennis and a championship golf course. Horncastle (10 miles) has varied vintage shops. Coningsby (9 miles) is home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The city of Lincoln with medieval cathedral, castle and smart shopping is 15 miles. Newark is 25 miles and the east coast beaches are approximately 35 miles. Pub just under 1 mile away.

Lovely, peaceful location. Well-equipped. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Immaculately maintained grounds. Great fishing. Selection of varying size fishing pegs. Lockup for fishing tackle. Plenty to see and do. Lots of recommended places to eat.

Had a fabulous stay at Peacock Barn. Host was very friendly and accommodating giving us lots of tips for things to do in the local area. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped to accommodate x6 adults. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was even better than the photos. Had Sunday roast at the Penny Farthing pub which was just a short walk away and would highly recommend. Fantastic stay would not hesitate booking again.

This was the 2nd visit to this beautiful house. You did need to travel a little to get to a shop. However the local pub is great.The grounds are so peaceful and a lovely sight to wake up to. The house has everything you need for your stay. We will definitely be back again

Loved this accommodation. Beautiful place which sits right on top of a fishing lake so highly recommended for keen fishermen. Very peaceful surroundings.
