The area has lovely walks, a small craft shop and is just ¼ mile from the busy square of St Just with its array of shops, including a butchers, bakers, fruit and veg shop, two small supermarkets, post office, four pubs, tea rooms and art galleries. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the stunning coastal paths, and the area has World Heritage status for its mining history, with the famous Crown Mines dotted along the rugged coastline. The area and coastline was used for the Poldark TV series. There is easy access to nearby Cape Cornwall, beautiful Sennen Cove, legendary Lands End and the beautiful cove and beach at Porthcurno, overlooked by the romantic Minack Open Air Theatre. The area attracts walkers, bird watchers, water sports enthusiasts, beach lovers and those interested in history and mining heritage.
