About this house rental
Pretty detached cottage dating from the 1800's. It has a pretty and enclosed south facing garden with a sunny aspect which is great for barbecues or just sunbathing in peaceful surroundings. There are stunning views overlooking Mount's Bay and on towards the Lizard. The interior is tastefully furnished with plenty of original artwork on the walls.
There are two main reception rooms - one with a great wood-burner for winter evenings. The kitchen is fully fitted with ample crockery and cooking equipment. Upstairs there is a bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and shower facilities, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a small single room. All the bedrooms enjoy spectacular views. A well-behaved dog is welcome. A travel cot is available on request. Please note: Sancreed has no shop or pub . The nearest would be in Newlyn or St Just c 3 miles away.
Although the front garden and driveway are level, there are some fairly steep steps up to the lawned garden.

We loved our stay, cottage wonderfully traditional amd homely. Had everything we needed, weather was quite cold and windy for our stay so we were very grateful to arrive to a toasty warm cottage as the radiators had thoughtfully been.put on for us (we did end up switching them.off for most pf the stay as cottage warmed up quickly.) Loved walking the dogs up to the beacon or down to the reservoir, they also had a wonderful time sunbathing in the garden. It was lovely to get the morning sun and have breakfast outside. Plenty to see all within 10/15mins drive of the cotrage. Definetly recommend if you love peace and tranquility like us.

We had the best time in the farmhouse. The location was superb, so many amazing places to visit within a 15 min drive of the property. The weather was mixed but on the rainy days we had plenty of entertainment options with all the different games provided in the house.
