The area is rich in history and is an ideal base for touring, hillwalking, bird watching, horse-riding, visiting castles, National Trust properties and Pictish stones. To the east are the very good beaches of the Angus Coastline, whilst to the west the Angus Glens are a challenge for all walking abilities. Forfar Loch attracts anglers, walkers and wildlife, whilst Glamis Castle is a short drive away. There are several very good golf courses within an hour’s drive, not least St Andrews and Carnoustie. An ideal choice at any time of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

Such a wonderful, clean, well equipped cottage surrounded by wildlife and bird song. Somewhere to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries. Will definitely be back. Plenty to see within half hour to one hour drive and Forfar is 5 minutes away

The farmhouse was exactly what we wanted, in the middle of fields with local amenities approx 4 miles away. Peace and quiet for the week which was exactly what we needed. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. We would most certainly return and highly recommend. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay.

This was our 4th visit to Meadowgreen . Were already booked for number 5 . From the welcome pack to the cleanliness to the amenities etc . This place is one of the best holiday cottages we've visited over the years . We've been talking these types of holidays for 20 years and this is up there with the best .

Absolutely love this cottage, 2nd time here & it's just the same as the 1st. Peaceful, tranquil, clean & the views from every window are just amazing. Will be coming again, would highly recommend if your looking for peace and quiet, look no further.
