This historic Gertrude Simpson Taylor 1908 home has been fully renovated with designer materials, recessed lighting and all the modern comforts. Beautiful, huge dine in kitchen that is fully stocked for you. Washer and dryer included. Enjoy the expansive porches and sunsets. Brand new bikes and a New Orleans style courtyard with lighting and new furniture. 65` Smart TV and HiFi sound.
Guests can access the entire house
This home is perfectly situated in downtown and next to the Bay Center. You can walk or ride very easily. Enjoy the quiet historic neighborhood with lots of charm. Walk to happening Palafox street or take a short ride to the beach
Off street parking comes with the rental and there is lots of additional safe, lit street parking as needed
Off street parking and full laundry. Updated finished and a fully stocked kitchen. Brand new bikes and a New Orleans style courtyard with lighting and new furniture. 65` Smart TV and HiFi sound.
House Rules:
No more than 4 total overnight guests.
No more than 8 total people in the house at any time.
No Parties ever.
No Smoking in the home.
No loud noise after 10 pm.
No shooting of fireworks on the property.
Thoroughly clean any utensils, pots and pans after use.
Put things back where you got them.
If you break something or find something broken, contact the host.
There are two bikes with locks for your use. If they are damaged, lost or stolen for any reason a $300 fee will apply
Departure:
Leave linens on the bed.
Place all used towels in the bathtub.
Set thermostat to 60° in winter and 80° in summer.
Load dishwasher and start.
Make sure all pots and pans are clean.
Turn off all lights.
Turn off TV and electronics
Take out all trash and recyclables
The cleaning team arrives promptly at 11:00am on your check out date so please be respectful of their time. Please don`t hesitate to call us for any reason.
HOT TUB RULES AND FINES:
ABSOLUTELY NO SAND OR GLASS IN THE TUB. IF THERE IS SAND OR GLASS IN THE TUB POST STAY, A NON-NEGOTIABLE $200 FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR DRAINING, CLEANING AND REFILLING THE TUB.

Our third stay here and once again we are so grateful - This place really is a dream! Perfectly located in a lovely neighborhood with kind and friendly neighbors. A short drive to the beach but several great restaurants are close by the house. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and responsive. This home always feels like a true home away from home. Can’t wait to come back for stay number four!

The house was exactly as seen in the photos. Older home with updated features and stylish furniture/design. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was cold. Good water pressure. All the kitchen supplies available to cook. The home was uncluttered and felt very spacious for a 2 bed/2 bath. We had a very nice stay.
