The Space:
Overlooking Shoal Pond in a private Orleans neighborhood sits Heron House—a beautiful home with an expansive floor plan just waiting to host your next vacation. From the large picture windows providing plenty of light and fantastic water views to the well landscaped grounds of the oversized lot we’re sure you’ll fall for Heron House.
When you enter this home you pass through one of the multiple living room areas and dining room to find the heart of the home: a gorgeous and well-planned kitchen with a separate pantry area. Making a quick pasta dinner is a breeze with the over the stove pot filler. After a great meal, the family can gather in one of three sitting rooms. The blue walled sitting room is the perfect place to get lost in the pages of a good book--especially if it takes place on the high seas as the tasteful ship decor around you will transport you from the pages to the waves. Otherwise, you can enjoy a movie in the comfortable TV room. Throughout the house is a well executed Nautical decor theme giving it a unique Cape Cod charm.
There are five comfortable bedrooms in this home. The master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom is on the first floor. Upstairs are 4 additional bedrooms–three with Queen Beds and one with two Twin beds–as well as two bathrooms and a washer dryer.
Outside the yard is as spacious, well-kept and inviting as the rest of the house. The yard has custom stone walkways, and a large back patio with dining area and grill. Even if it's chilly outside, you can enjoy the outdoors around the fire pit, where you can share scary stories, gooey s'mores, and create lifelong memories with your family.

We loved our stay. The house is so clean and well equipped. Great location. The only issue we had was the connection to the internet. We hope to return next summer!!

A large group of friends and I stayed here for a wedding we had on the cape. The property was spacious and beautiful. We only wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities! The property managers were extremely communicative. We will definitely try to rent again!
