About this apartment rental

The apartment is ideally located to enjoy the city : you are less than a hundred feet from the most central subway station in Paris, « Châtelet Les Halles ». You will be living in Le Marais-Les Halles, one of the best and most beautiful areas of Paris, within walking distance from the banks of the Seine and city highlights like the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. The area is full of bakeries and traditional French restaurants, from typical daily brasserie to refined French cuisine, you will feel like a true Parisian.
After climbing four flight of stairs (as it’s in a 16th century building there is no elevator), you reach a newly renovated apartment that is full of natural light and cosy atmosphere with its plants and authentic feel.
It is equiped with air-conditioning and all the necessary amenities including a washing machine and a drying machine.

Once we climbed the 4 flights of stairs and opened the door to the apartment, we were so very delighted. Knowing that this unique, authentic Parisian apartment was our home base for a week, allowed us to take a deep breath, and relax. You are in the heart of Paris, with the Louvre about 10 minute walk away, and Les Halles station and mall just a few minutes away on foot is just ideal. If you need to get somewhere further out, there are several Metro stations. Depending on which direction you want to go, I think the furthest M station was about a 10 minute walk away.So many restaurants and boulangeries close to the apartment, plus a grocery store as well if you feel you want to make meals. All the dish ware, cutlery etc is provided and the kitchen though small, is very well equipped. You should have everything you need.Host Henri is most helpful offering quick responses to questions if needed. There is no TV but they provide an iPad linked to an impressive sound system if you would like to watch a movie or your favourite show. Lots of antique french books to read as well - we only wish we understood the language better!The weather wasn't hot while we were there, so the temperature in the apartment was fine for us. However, there are tricks to keeping it cool and Henri will inform you...just ask if that is a concern. The Dyson fan was excellent for air flow and for white noise.We would highly recommend this apartment and this location if you want something central.

The layout of this charming apartment is genius. They crafted a silent bedroom in the middle. From the bedroom you can hear no street noise. The home is light, bright and authentically Parisian. It is In an AWESOME neighborhood. We walked everywhere. Absolutely loved it. And I have high standards!!

A Parisian Gem with a Fantastic Host!We had a wonderful 9-day stay at Henri’s beautiful apartment. Henri is a fabulous host—communication was seamless from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, with an endless selection of restaurants, shops, and Metro stations just a short walk away.The apartment itself is stunning and exceptionally well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the full kitchen, the comfortable living room, and the queen-size bed. Having a spacious main bathroom with a great shower—plus an extra powder room—was a huge plus for our stay. The in-unit laundry was also a lifesaver for a longer stay. I highly recommend this home and look forward to returning!

In our experience the reality of the setting (interior of the apartment) far excedes the photos on the website. When we walked in and saw the apartment in reality it is just beautiful. It is not generic but not precious just gentle details and thoughtful decor. The kitchen is definitely well equipped...I am an avid home cook and made dinner at least one night, maybe two just like at home.
