We’ve had the most wonderful week at Field Head House. All generations - from age 10 to 81 - have thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable and peaceful surroundings. Such a bonus to have two sitting rooms, as well as a well equipped kitchen, grand dining room, two utility rooms, ample bathrooms and four spacious bedrooms. Step free access throughout has been extremely helpful. Watching the wildlife has been a real highlight, as well as walks around the estate. We can understand why so many guests return, also in a very convenient location for everything Windermere has to offer. Many thanks for having us!

Amazing property in an incredible location.
Certainly got our steps in just walking around this property, it was spread out with lots of room for everyone.
All rooms were great, well equipped modern kitchen, surrounded by older rooms full of character.
Lots of outdoor space, very large dining table, big enough to play a long board game, and still room to eat !

There were three generations of us at the house and we were all more than satisfied with the cottage. It was clean,comfortable with everything we needed on hand. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
I would also like to add a special thanks to the lady in the office who sorted out a problem for me. She couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. So rare nowadays.

We came long way to stay in this beautiful cottage as it had connections with our early family history and it was perfect to accommodate our three generations. The peaceful atmosphere, and the facilities provided made our time at Field House a holiday to remember.
