Explore the nearby Robinson or Perico Preserve, with biking/walking trails, scenic kayaking, and excellent fishing. Relax on the magnificent white sands of Holmes Beach or join in a sand volleyball game. Go horseback riding on the beach just 5 minutes away. Spend time relaxing or fishing off the backyard dock, where you might just get a visit from manatees! Live in luxury at our beautiful, newly renovated home, with 5 furnished bedrooms and 3 full baths. Our home includes 4 kayaks to navigate the beautiful canals of the Island. Or you can stay back on the dock and fish the canal with the fishing equipment provided. Enjoy a game of tennis at the nearby courts using our tennis rackets, or explore the island and nearby Manatee River views with the bicycles provided for endless touring. After your bike ride, kick back and get that vacation tan on one of the patio loungers, or cool off and take a dip in your very own private pool. Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee on your private dock over looking the canal and watching the fish jump in the warm morning sun. We do have a boat lift and can discuss your needs for that. Please contact us for more information on bringing your boat along. If you're hungry, enjoy grilling your favorite meal on the patio overlooking the pool and canal, or cook in the large, modern, and open kitchen with all new appliances. I can't say enough how incredible our stay was! My husband and I rented this home with our adult children. The hpuse was plenty big for us all to have our own space and for us to all gather by the pool, livingroom, and kitchen. We enjoyed the dock, bbq, and spending time in the pool and laying in the sun. Wonderful, safe, and quiet neighborhood. Close to the grocery store and so many fun tourist attractions!! We will definitely rent this home again.

The host was very communicative before we arrived and made the check-in process simple. Be advised...your GPS may take you to the neighbor's house, so check the address when you arrive. The property was clean and offered enough room for 6 adults to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other the whole time. We had everything we needed and more. The host provided a variety of "extras" to make the stay enjoyable, including kayaks, bikes, and fishing poles. While our group of seniors didn't use any of them, we found this very thoughtful. We loved our morning coffee on the dock and pool-side. It's so peaceful. If you have any mobility issues, getting in and out of the pool and down to the dock can be a little challenging as there are no hand rails, but with a little ingenuity we got it done! The water was perfect and we spent most of our daylight hours enjoying the pool. The kitchen is large and spacious and, with 6 women, this was something we loved! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this host and property!

The house is functionable, but wouldn’t rate it 5 star. Looks like the “renovations” consisted of new flooring and some shiplap, but not much else.
When we arrived, the two garbage cans were overflowing. Not sure why the cleaners couldn’t have seen that. When we went to take out the garbage a few days later, it was filled with maggots. Not something I expect to deal with on vacation.
The furniture is acceptable, but again not 5 star. For a sectional in the family room, there was one small side table, so not conducive to having a drink/coffee while sitting there bc there’s nowhere to put a glass down. Pots and pans were so worn and mismatched. As were lin The ceiling grates in the bedrooms were moldy and dirty. The grill was also filthy…whoever grilled last had some sticky sauce like teriyaki and was burnt onto the grates, so we had to deep clean before we could grill.
Pool toys in the bin were unusable as they needed to be inflated and the only pumps in the garage were for bikes so we had to buy a pump and new rafts. The bin and the toys were filthy and the boogie boards were cracked and broken. Towels and linens were old and worn.
The outdoor area was nice, thankfully bc we spent most of our time there.
I have used VRBO for more than 30 years. I’m always pleasantly surprised when we get a home that is truly furnished as a real home, not with towels, dishes, utensils from 15 years ago. This home has so much potential but needs a deep clean and paint. Wouldn’t go back.
