About this house rental
Mermaids 3 is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath beach home that sleeps 10. It is surrounded by nature and beautiful gulf scenery on all sides! It is less than a 2 minute walk to the dog friendly, white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. If you are a boat enthusiast, you can dock your boat at the back door! Mermaids 3 is the perfect location!
The downstairs outdoor area is great for entertaining. We offer a wood pellet grill, a commercial ice machine and plenty of seating. The outdoor restroom has all the necessities of a full bath… two shower heads, dressing area, and sink with a lighted mirror and outlets.
Head upstairs to an open concept living/kitchen area with 20 foot ceilings and windows galore to give the natural lighting and warmth of a perfect beach day. The great room is bright with panoramic views of the natural sand dunes and wooded area where you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the deer, bald eagles, or other wildlife that call it home. There is also a private sitting area off of the main living room for a peaceful retreat for games or to relax with a great book. The kitchen is fully stocked and features a dining table for 8, a breakfast nook for 6 with 6 more seats at the bar. The pantry offers a coffee bar and drink cooler and right across the way is the laundry with a half bath. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen the other with two twins, with a full bath to accommodate them. This floor also has the large deck with two sitting areas to take in the view.
Upstairs opens to the beautiful living room below with a catwalk to three more bedrooms. The master bedroom, with a king bed, is lined with windows for more amazing views. It also opens up to an upstairs balcony. The master bath has an oversized walk-in shower with 3 luxurious shower heads and a jet tub with a view of the gulf!! You will be in love!!
The other two bedrooms have unbelievable views as well. One bedroom has two twins while the other a queen. There is a full bath accessible for these two bedrooms along with a sitting area with access to the upstairs deck.
If you would like a few excursions during your stay, we can accommodate you!! We offer our guests discounts on deep sea fishing trips where we promise you won’t come home empty handed. We can also do trips to the local beaches accessible only by boat or a river trip to historic Apalachicola.

This house is beautiful! The open kitchen and den provided a lot of space. The bedrooms were very nice. We spent most of our time downstairs being so close to the canal and enjoying the gulf breeze. We were not there long enough to fully enjoy all the deck space, but there was plenty of it. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your home!

The house was beautiful!!! We had a great time with friends, enjoying the outdoors and indoor. Cooked some amazing meals in the well equipped kitchen. Would definitely book again.

This is a great house with all of the amenities you need. It is a short walk to the beach-3 minutes. The public access there has bathrooms and an outdoor shower and faucet. The beach never had more than 30 people on it and it was the week following July 4th!The house has everything you need. There is a Traeger and small fryer as well as an industrial ice maker down stairs. The kitchen is fully stocked and the common areas are wide open. The bedrooms are roomy and plenty of bathrooms. We had 12 people, including 4 toddlers, and never felt like we were on top of each other. Mrs. Jina is awesome to talk to and makes you feel super welcome. We loved this house and hopefully will stay again.

Beautiful home. Easy access to beach. Well stocked. Problems—The owner came to the house to ask to use the downstairs bathroom on second day. Another owner showed up and we told him about a wasp nest in that same bathroom and he said he would address it but he was irritated by our request. Got text and asked if owners husband could access the fishing closet on the bottom floor. I thought no problem. He came next am at 5am and took two hours loading his boat for his side hustle—a fishing expedition co. Guests on the boat used the bathroom and left beer bottle in the bathroom. They woke up our grandkids at 5:30 getting ice for their trip. Then they used the shower in that bathroom when they got back. They came back and did the same thing the last day of our stay but the owner said they wouldbe quiet. If you see the vrbo ads with Nick Saban—this is exactly what we experienced and vrbo says they don’t allow shared spaces. Also no wifi, no internet. It’s not that it wasn’t working, they don’t have it and they advertise they do. NO smart TVs. We were busy at beach but couldn’t access programs at night. Owner said we have dish tv. I think you should advertise that. No bikes. No fire pit. No coffee maker. We had ten people and all they had was a Kuerig for individual cups. That would be fine if the listing didn’t tell us there was a coffee maker. We went and bought one. Home is beautiful and spacious. Would just have preferred to have it to ourselves.
