About this house rental
Beautiful home nestled among towering trees on 20 acres. Hike the private trails to picnic table at the top. Amazing view of Lake Pend Orielle & Green Monarch Mountains to relish while on the deck, in hot tub or as you relax inside on comfy sofas & gaze through large spanning windows. Fenced garden with fresh goodies ripe for the picking (summer/fall). Soothe your muscles in the crystal clean, salt water hot tub, then cozy up to a crackling fire (wood provided).
Well appointed, fully stocked kitchen including Instapot, Crockpot, Ninja food processor, blender, tea kettle, waffle/pancake griddle, Panini maker, tons of baking gear and a large pantry.
Appreciate the quiet and truly get away! Peaceful tranquility with breathtaking views await!
All of our beds are new and super comfy!
-Main floor has one bedroom with 1 queen (memory topper) and 2 twins.
-Upstairs has master suite with king bed. In common area there is one full and one queen futon. Memory topper available for the full futon.
-Lower level is also private with 1 queen bed (memory topper) and one twin pull out sofa chair (memory topper in armoire). This room has access to hot tub and TV area.
We intentionally do not have wifi/cable to help you get out and enjoy Idaho! Very limited cell service (1-2 bars with Verizon). We have a land line phone for local and emergency calls. There is a large screen TV with DVD and movies to choose from on lower level. Lots of comfortable seating areas to sink into while enjoying one of the many good reads available. A multitude of games are ready for your family to share.
-We provide a Pack-n-Play.
-We have 2 complimentary kayaks for guest use and life vests, and some blow up floats.
-For winter months chains highly recommended for this home due to possibility of icy driveway despite plowing/sanding
-5 min from Garfield Bay/Lake Pend Orielle, 15 min to Sandpoint, 30 min to Silverwood Amusement & Water Park, 45 min to Schweitzer Mountain for ski/snowboarding, 45 min to Coeur d'Alene, less than 100 miles to Canada.

Very happy with our stay here! The home and view are amazing. The hot tub was wonderful. Garfield Bay is just 10 min away, and it's just 20 min to Sandpoint which has an excellent grocery for whatever you may need. House was fully stocked with the essentials you'd expect and everything worked well. You'll enjoy your visit I'm sure.

Completely enjoyed our stay at the Larchwood Lodge. It was actually better than what we saw online. The views and amenities exceeded our expectations. From the deck, the hot tub, hiking trails, help yourself gardens, more than adequate sleeping space...... Everything was excellent. It was well within access to our daughter's wedding venue at the Eureka Institute as well as back to Sandpoint and Dover areas. All in all, just great. In our case, internet access and/or cell service would have been beneficial, but we adapted. Heather was great to work with and was understanding about letting us check out at 1:00 instead of 11:00. Thanks again for a very memorable experience!!
