A charming and comfortable beachfront cottage, located at Jade Bay in Akumal, Riviera Maya, Mexico. The cottage is privately located in the beautiful tropical garden of a private gated property. Its terrace is only 15 yards from the beach and a 10 minute beach walk from Akumal Village. A choice of cozy restaurants will satisfy your appetite. How to Get There: Conveniently located close to the highway 307 from Cancun to Tulum, exit Las Villas Akumal, km 253. Isla Escape can be reached by public transportation with a transfer to the Paradas Continuas or a taxi at Playa del Carmen. All major car rental companies are present at Cancun airport. Car rental is also available at Akumal. Detailed routing will be provided with your booking confirmation through our website.

Our family (2 adults, 3 kids age 16, 12, 12) had an absolutely fantastic stay here for our spring break! Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The house is clean and well air conditioned. The outdoor space was inviting with ample shade and places to lounge. We enjoyed our outdoor meals at the large outdoor table. The place is ocean front and a 10-15 minute walk to Akumal village and a two minute walk to the Jungle Fish restaurant. We enjoyed the kayaks and snorkeling gear! The best part of our stay were our hosts Jacob and Moon-he. They are sweet and attentive and provided a daily housekeeper and groundskeeper. Edgar cooked an amazing meal for us on our last night. We would come back in a heart beat!!!

We had a delightful stay at this cottage and recommend it highly. It was clean, quiet and ideally located within walking distance from the public Akumal Beach and near the nice restaurant, Jungle Beach Club. Jacob was a lovely host and the property manager was always available and answered every request with "si!"We spent time lounging and eating on the lanai, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling. We had a small child so the small protected cove with wading pools and sea creatures provided lots of entertainment. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
