This custom-built duplex mountain retreat feels just like home! Exquisitely furnished, the Red Poppy features 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths, reclaimed oak and slate floors, a gourmet kitchen with Wolf range, and panoramic views of Mt. Crested Butte, the Town of Crested Butte, and surrounding mountains from every room. There is also a 1-car heated garage that provides indoor parking and storage for skis and gear. Two 'townie' bikes are also available for all guests! The grocery store, movie theater, and free ski shuttle are a block away, the park and playground are across the street, and Elk Avenue is only a short distance from the property.
The ground floor features 1 bedroom with a Queen, the second bedroom with a twin over double bunk bed + a twin trundle, a full bath, and a private washer/dryer. The second floor is where you will find the beautiful common area living space, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with TV, and 1/2 bath. There is a lovely deck off the living area that features a gas grill. The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor with a king bed and a beautiful ensuite bathroom.

Loved this house! Fit two families perfectly and was so convenient to all that Crested Butte has to offer. It was a perfect, homey place to rest between all our fun activities. Everyone we talked with was so helpful and so nice!

We enjoyed staying at this property for 3 nights. It was comfortable and a great location close to downtown. The property needed attention during our stay however, with toilet problems that took a few hours to fix, and a gas stove that was never fixed while we were there. In addition, one of the showers had mold on the shower curtain. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it seemed like our problems could have been prevented with more extensive maintenance between renters.

This house is an easy walk to town, and we never had trouble with parking next to it with two larger vehicles. It has plenty of room for two families to stay, and we cooked dinner there most nights. The kitchen was great! It’s also close to two great parks for kids to play at.
