Walk into our virtually brand new house in Burnet, TX on Lake LBJ. Situated on the upper Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ, we are 20 steps away from a day of fun on the lake. Fully loaded with new appliances, comfortable beds, quality linens and kitchenwares, you will feel right at home.

The house is fully equipped, with lake towels, 2 outdoor Grills, 3 kayaks, 3 paddleboards, fully loaded kitchen complete with spices and seasonings so all you need to do is pack your swimsuits and sunblock.
All bedrooms are equipped with 50* TVs and high end quality bed linens.

Four generations gathered to reconnect and celebrate Easter and great grandmother’s birthday. There was room for everyone. The little ones loved the bunk beds and adults enjoyed the comfy big beds. We rented a pontoon boat for extra fun, but the wide variety of water toys, game room and table large enough for a holiday meal, provided everything we needed for a successful family reunion.

This was the perfect lake house for our family! It’s right on the water and comes with kayaks, paddle boards, swim mats, a rope swing, and a boat lift. We rented a boat while we were there so it was convenient to be able to keep it in the lift. Our kids had a great time swimming and playing off of the dock. It is also a great house for dogs, because the entire yard is fenced in. The house it self was amazing! It was clean, comfortable, and just like the pictures! There is plenty of space inside and out. The pool table and karaoke machine were our nightly entertainment. The kitchen was well appointed and the ice machine was a nice bonus. There were plenty of beach towels and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom. The owners thought of everything! It was also nice to have covered parking! The owners extremely communicative and thorough. We highly recommend this beautiful home and look forward to our next visit!

This is the perfect home for a group of friends or large family. There is plenty of space, inside and out, that allows for a large group to be together without feeling like you are right on top of one another. The home has everything you could need, from an indoor game room, to kayaks/paddle boards/rope swing outside for hours and hours of fun. The home has an incredible second floor balcony with fun couch swings that provided nap space for teens and evening relaxation time for adults. Lastly, the home is equipped with everything you need to cook large meals and enjoy the meals together. If you are looking for a place to enjoy time with friends or extended family, this is the home for you!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this one was warranted. We rented this property for two nights to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. While the home and location were lovely, the experience was overshadowed by how rigid and overbearing the hosts were.Even before our stay, communication felt more like a rulebook than a warm welcome. There was pushback about bringing one of our dogs—despite the listing being advertised as “dog-friendly.” When I asked about their pet fees, I was told this wasn’t a “dog boarding facility.” That set the tone.Then came a flood of emails detailing an exhaustive list of do’s and don’ts:You’ll be monitored on camera at check-in to ensure you only bring one dog.Always wear a life jacket on the dock and while using the rope swing.Don’t touch the owner’s boat.Be cautious with the fire pit—never leave it unattended.Use the grill only on the concrete and don’t dump ashes in the trash.Break a paddleboard paddle? That’s on you.The lake is not a swimming pool.Early check-in or late check-out? That’s 25 per hour.Oh, and since no one’s staying after you, we’ll offer 50% off if you want to extend your stay.And finally: “Have a fun and relaxing time!”Are you kidding me?I spent the entire weekend feeling on edge, afraid of accidentally breaking a rule. It’s a shame, because the property had so much potential to be a great, relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, the hosts’ overly strict and watchful approach made that impossible.
