Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Vaughn is very nice and the accommodations were great. The beds were very comfy and we had beds for everyone. The kids were able to hang out upstairs and play their video games. Being close to all the amenities was great! The only complaint my family had was that the upstairs bedrooms were warm at night, understanding it was so hot during the day. They did provide a portable AC which helped in one bedroom, but we should have put one in the other bedroom too, because they were hot. The layout of the kitchen is unusual and made it hard for more than 2 people to get around. The stove’s two big burners didn’t work properly. The two large burners would only work on high if you used the med & low setting, they would turn off. We rented a jet ski & it was OK. We also rented a pontoon boat which was fun but the ladder was broken, we couldn’t get it down, we had to lift the kids into the boat. Our boat dock was great except a couple of nights, other people were out on it even after the lights shut off. And you could hear them & their music. We understand that’s it’s hard to monitor that after hours. The overall stay was good.
