About this house rental

Our newly renovated house is located in a quiet residential area with high recreational value. In the immediate vicinity there are several lakes, hiking areas and cultural highlights.
In winter, there are some ski areas after 30-45 minutes drive, for example, Sudelfeld / Wendelsteingebiet, Spitzingsee, Kampenwand or shortly after Kufstein the ski world "Wilder Kaiser".
Sightseeing or an extensive shopping tour are available after about 50 minutes by car in Munich, Salzburg or Innsbruck.

The property was in an awesome location to visit Salzburg, Munich and Bavaria. The hosts lived next door and were very attentive and responsive. Would absolutely recommend!

The property is located in Stephanskirchen, which is just far enough outside Rosenheim to be very quiet and relaxing, yet close to everything you want and need. The house has everything you need. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and flatware, a sizeable fridge and, most important for a vacation rental, extremely comfortable mattresses. The hosts are extremely nice people living next door and help with anything you may need. The rabbits in the yard and the neighbor's cat will stroll up and say Hi. We specially enjoyed the daily adventures of Charlie the rabbit :D You have a Supermarket (REWE) close by, a Drogerie Markt, a pharmacy, a butcher (with lunch option), a Café and bakery, a pharmacy, a Biergarten (Antretter), two Italian restaurants and a Doner Kebab (Habibi) all in a few minutes walk. For the initial shopping and stocking up we preferred to go to Kaufland for the better prices. It is just about 10 minutes away by car. A lot off places have English speaking staff, so just go and ask for help. The Simsee is closeby and there are an assortment of Biergarten, swim areas and restaurants around the lake to explore. The Chiemsee is also near and so is almost everything on this side of the Bavarian Alps. I recommend a train ride to Salzburg or Munich if you like to explore these places without the stress of using a car. Do not miss the Königssee, Berchtesgaden, the Predigtstuhl cable car in Bad Reichenhall and, of course, Rosenheim's Altstadt. Enjoy your stay!
