My daughter and I were on a road trip, stayed here 3 nights and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. Like others have said, the front porch was amazing, perfect for early morning coffee and relaxing after a full day of exploring. The neighborhood was so cool and there are people walking dogs, pushing strollers, running or just strolling and the majority greet you. It’s really a fun place for people watching and we felt very safe. The bedrooms were large, the wood floors creaked in all the right spaces, kitchen and bathroom had plenty of space, beds were very comfortable. The listing says the whole house but it’s really half of the downstairs and Erin lives upstairs. It didn’t matter because there was plenty of room and she’s very nice and accommodating. If I had a negative it would be the carpet runners in the hall. I’m a fall risk so had to walk very carefully plus they had to be smoothed down after rolling luggage over them. It’s really not a huge deal if you stay aware. Overall our stay was better than we expected and I highly recommend.

We rented for a wedding in town. It was a short two night stay. We really enjoyed the front porch as we spent most of our time there enjoying all the walkers, and friendly people. We even ate breakfast out on porch. I contacted the host multiple times and she always responded quickly. We did have a few issues that we brought to her attention and she stated she was going to address them promptly. It was not anything that would cause me to not rent again. Small things like missing kitchen towels and a missing remote for a ceiling fan. A few miner cleaning issues and a broken iron which I was glade I brought my steamer from home so I had something. I did use the iron but it leaked. Thank goodness it was on my husband’s shirt that would be under a suit coat!! These are things guests need to let the host know so it can be replaced for incoming renters. I truly loved the area, the home’s charm. She also supplied coffee which was very nice as we brought pods not thinking it was a full size coffee pot. The back yard is wonderful it even has a plum tree. All in all.. would recommend once the issues are resolved. The host was lovely and was very responsive. We were thankful for the few days we had in her home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is up-and-coming and it was cool to stay in a historic property. The unit has plenty of space and ample street parking. We really enjoyed the front porch in the evening.
