Upstairs apartment. Brand new build in a neighborhood of gracious historic homes. High quality construction and immaculately finished and maintained. Beautiful hard wood floors. All aspects very modern without losing the historic atmosphere. A very comfortable apartment.
Hosts, Logan and John, very hospitable and very responsive to any needs / requests and made the experience very pleasant and seamless. They live next door, so efficient problem solving capability - though we had none to solve.
Beds: King in one bedroom, 2 queens in other. Both rooms very spacious. Very comfortable mattresses with high quality bed linen; pillows plentiful.
Bathrooms en suite each room. Very modern, classy. With excellent hot water. Tub in the king room.
Kitchen very modern, open plan, pristine, well equipped. Did appreciate having an electric kettle.
Neighborhood: Church Hill, gracious historic neighborhood with up market corner restaurants and coffee shops / bakeries within several blocks. 2 across the street really excellent. Very safe with safe street parking; no bars on windows or doors of homes. Many families out walking children and dogs. 2 good playgrounds within several blocks
Across the street from Chimborazo Civil War Hospital Museum National Park in a 30 acre park. Very walkable neighborhood. Good bus service; stops within a block.
