About this apartment rental
A short walk from the city centre, a short distance from the port, in a historic, peaceful and quiet area (near the "La Venezia" district) and in a small building, the ground floor apartment has a nice entrance and a charming private garden.
Completely renovated with care, in typical rustic Tuscan style, with wooden beams, bricks and exposed arches, it preserves the remaining architectural aspects of an ancient convent of Franciscan friars from the end of the 18th century.
The entire apartment and the private garden are at the complete disposal and access of guests.
Historic and typical district of the city, in a strategic position to visit the places of greatest artistic/tourist interest in the city (the "La Venezia" district, the "Fortezza Nuova", the "Bottini dell'Olio", ..) or to quickly access the port of embarkation for ferries or cruises. Within walking distance, you can reach department stores, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, typical restaurants, pizzerias, trendy bars, night clubs and means of transport.
Upon check-in, guests are required to pay the tourist tax: from 01.10. to 31.03 € 1 per night per person (for a maximum of 4 nights) / from 01.04 to 30.09 € 1.70 per night per person (for a maximum of 4 nights) - Children under 14 are exempt.

A superb and stand-out and historic oasis in the old port quarter of Lavento. Only on our radar to launch our early ferry dept and our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer to enjoy this immaculately presented home.

This is a wonderful place to stay while in Livorno. The hosts are stellar. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are filled with amenities usually not found in the VRBOs I have been in. We lost our accommodations in Venice due to water damage and could not find another comparable location of an affordable price due to it being so short notice. We chose Livorno, it being close to Florence which was our next stop. What a good decision it was! I can not say enough good things about The Little Eden. It was terrific and the patio a great added bonus. Beatrice and Jack are superb hosts!
