Livorno Gem: The Perfect Home Away From Home

Marco was a genuinely great host, providing a personal meet-and-greet and a thorough explanation of the apartment. He showed remarkable patience and understanding when a card payment issue arose on arrival. The lodge is perfectly situated, overlooking a main town square on the prime shopping street. Excellent access to numerous cafes, restaurants, and a bus stop right below. A spacious apartment with an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen—it was noted as the best-stocked you've ever encountered. The host also provided an ample breakfast supply, demonstrating attention to every detail. A rare find—absolutely no significant negatives.

The only slight disturbance was the intermittent, noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Perfect apartment for In the heart of Livorno.

The apartment is in the heart ofLivorno so great for walking around. The accommodation was of an exceptional standard with every amenity possible included. Food for breakfast was vast from cakes and pastries to cheese and ham and fruit. All modern gadgets including a coffee machine with capsules, a box of special teas and even a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Not to mention the bowls of sweets. The bedrooms were spotless and a modern shower room well appointed. Our only problem was finding a parking space on a busy weekend. The host was very helpful and lives in the adjoining apartment.

Impressive stay at "Due Emme" - totally recommend

Exceptional host Mr. Nodino with great care about us. He was so nice to explain us about the building history and Livorno city and what we can see around. Ammenities are top I do not have words to express how well we felt during our stay at Due Emme. And Livorno is a wonderful city with important history, impressive canals to explore, cosy trattorias. We built lovely memories.

Spacious city centre apartment.

This was exceptional. Lovely large apartment with comfortable beds and air con. Marco and his family have thought of everything you might need. Breakfast food, snacks, milk cheese, ham bread, - even beer and a bottle of prosecco!! Marco was/is a taxi driver and knows the city really well. Right in the middle of the city near the Cathedral; restaurants and cafés all around. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Car parking cost €25 for the day.

"A home away from home

The apartment was fully loaded, the host Marco went all out to ensure that we settled in and explained all that we would need to make our 'home away from home' abundance of food, wine , water and fruit as well as a coffee making machine. Location to explore was ideal. this is a must place to stay. This a 4 plus rating apartment.

A great find!

Everything was great from start to finish. A brilliant welcome and so well furnished. The breakfast treats and bottle of prosecco were an added bonus! Will definitely recommend to others!

Welcoming, clean and perfect location.

The host was very friendly. We arrived by ferry from Corsica, but we were delayed for over an hour. This was no problem, because the host lived next door. It was also amazing how clean the appartment was. The location was perfect; at only 10 minutes from the ferry (by car). A paid parking was very close by. The host thought about everything. We travelled with a young child and the host offered a baby-bed and highchair. There were also some childbooks present. The fridge was filled with a beer, water, yoghurt, cheese and fresh fruits. For breakfast, there was a variety of sweet breads, cereals, milk (also lactose-free), toast, marmelade and good coffee (nespresso). Thank you!!

We only stayed for 1 night and did not experience any issues with the facilities. In fact, we got more than we hoped for. If we would have stayed longer, then we would have probably missed a seating area were we can comfortably relax.

Great location, most hospitable host I have ever come across. Excellent facilities and the best stocked kitchen with food galore and coffee! (No expense spared!). I truly recommend this place as its a 2 bedroom place and plenty of room for eveb 2 couples. The wine in the fridge qas a nice touch. All up very thoughtful and considered approach to hosting. I was very impressed. Also, very quiet so I finally had the sleep I needed after touring across Italy for 4 months. Definitely the best place I've stayed at!

I really recommend this facility

Everything was great, especially the host and his wife, they are really nice, ready to help with everything, even with finding the parking place. The appartment is literally in the center, but no problem with parking and it’s also very close to the port. Very good offer for breakfast and appartment is really clean and cozy.

The host was great and very helpful and lives just next door in the building. Beautifully decorated and spotless apartment with two large bedrooms and very nice bathroom. Food and snacks abundant throughout. on a main street in the shopping district but still very quiet due to great windows. Super comfortable beds. would love to stay here again for a longer period.

Because if Covid-19 breakfast was yogurt and many other selections of prepackaged foods. everything else was perfect!!

Big room, host is perfect. He indicated a very good restaurant. He adapted to the hour we arrived and indicated various options to park outside to ZTL.

Due to Covid, we have to prepare our own breakfast with industrials products at our disposal.

Superb

Marco is a charming and thoughtful host, always ready with recommendations and information. Coordinating our arrival was simple, and Marco was on hand when we got there. The apartment was very clean, bright and central and stocked with more breakfast food than you could possibly need. If you're travelling on to the Tuscan islands, it's fairly handy for the city-centre ferry port too. Highly recommended.

L'hôte a prévu une quantité de nourriture qui vous permet de manger si vous arrivez tard et que vous ne souhaitez plus sortir. L'hôte nous a montré ce qu'il a prévu pour ses clients : yaourt, fruits frais, bouteilles d'eau et même 2 bouteilles de bière, du fromage et de la charcuterie sans oublier un grand panier contenant des biscottes et divers lait, brioches etc... Bref, un petit festin. Les chambres sont très spacieuses. De plus, l'hôte est très disponible et accueillant. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans l'entrée et garder la clé durant la journée avant notre départ du logement. Ce fut une halte très agréable

Je n'ai rien redire. Je n'ai pas été dérangée par le bruit bien que la maison se trouve dans une rue importante.

Es stand eine riesige Auswahl an hygienisch verpackten Altenativen für das Frühstück zur Verfügung. Wir waren dankbar, diese Auswahl zu haben. Alles war außerordentlich sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir würden sofort wieder hierher reisen, auch für mehrere Tage, da es in Livorno und Umgebung einiges zu erleben gibt.

Perfekt für einen Zwischenstopp

Wir waren eine 5köpfige Familie und hatten 1 Übernachtung auf dem Weg in den Süden. Das Apartment war perfekt gepflegt. Der Kühlschrank ausreichend gefüllt, auch mit laktose- und glutenfreien Produkten. Der Vermieter war unfassbar freundlich und sehr gut zu erreichen. Alles in allem sehr geräumig und mit Klimaanlage top.

An der Unterkunft hat uns nichts nicht gefallen. Die Lage ist so naja. Es gibt in Livorno wohl schönere Ecken. Parken funktioniert gut in dem nahe gelegenen Parkhaus. 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Aber Achtung: Autos mit einer Höhe über 2,15 m können nur im Einfahrtsgeschoss parken. Bei uns war das mit SUV und Dachbox der Fall und leider war das gesamte EG voll. Ein Mitarbeiter war so freundlich und hat uns erlaubt, über Nacht auf dem E Parkplatz zu parken. Preis 26 €. Das muss man bedenken.
