I was not wrong -- perfect location with ocean views, short walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and Yachats trails, open kitchen for cooking together, large comfy beds, and TWO decks (one with a hot tub). Doesn't get better!

This house was in a great location-walkable to everything. Beautiful views and unique/timeless home. We appreciated the views. The basement game room entertained nieces and nephews during stormy, windy weather. Cozy warm for an older home. Great kitchen, eating area and living area with great light and views. Hope to stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: The home is well appropriated with everything you need, great amenities, and obviously well taken care of by the owners and the rental company. The home was clean and comfortable and spacious enough for six adults. The hot tub was an excellent addition but I might suggest adding a couple chairs up there for those who just want to relax on the porch. The house is on the bay inlet road smack in the middle of town so it was a popular walking trail for visitors. We didn't mind at all but if you're looking for somewhere with more privacy, another place might be better suited. This place also only has one full bathroom with a half bath upstairs, again, this was not a problem for us, but it's good information to have if you're traveling with a group. We loved it here and looked into renting it during the summer, but it looks like it might already be booked up for most of the summer!

Obviously location is perfect, we could walk everywhere so the cars stayed parked almost the whole visit (except to go to Pacific Sourdough in Waldport) and the view is spectacular. Weather prohibited hot tub use but it looked great. The house is well used but not run down, and all the beds were very comfortable, which is not always the case. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The oversize shower was also very welcome. If this is available in the future when I'm shopping around, I will definitely book it again. The only slight criticisms I have would be that a couple of the dining chairs are wearing out and had loose joints, felt sketchy to use so we just set them aside. Also there was some food left by another guest that didn't get tossed and was going bad. Nothing that would ruin a good time though.

Love the location and how this house optimizes the amazing views. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the hot tub after a cold plunge in the ocean. Only 1 shower, which I must have missed in the listing, but it worked. The bathroom is not well ventilated so it got musty quite quickly. No response from property management so something for them to explore for future renters.Overall would rent again!

Beautiful house right on the ocean in the heart of the village of Yachats. Clean, quiet, comfortable, well appointed. Hot tub was broken. We would have chosen another place to stay had we known sooner. No hood fan in the kitchen, so be very careful to open up all the doors and windows when cooking. Check in was easy and smooth, and the property managers were kind and helpful.

We’ve stayed here for several years & have loved it in the past. The property now needs some freshening up and definitely new beds! All three of the beds were uncomfortable, there are several area rugs that are curling and are definite safety hazards, piles of debris on deck etc.

Walk to town. Walk to tide pools. Walk to grocery store. Tremendous views from both levels. The house is clean and nicely decorated. All the furnishings were comfortable. This is a well planned vacation rental. And the hot tub with fabulous view was clean and just the perfect temperature.

I stayed at the property with my two kids grown ups now and my 3 grandkids. It couldn't be more more beautiful!! The kids loved taking short walks and returning to the cabin was always special. Eating our meals while planning our next day was fantastic. We all loved the location,!

Arriving in Portland 2 days before going to Yachats, I received a call from the property manager informing me the rental Ya Haitian Tides, that I had put a lot of thought into, was not available. If I wanted the same days I had one option, a property called Watercolors. Ocean view was outstanding but you had to walk a block to get to the beach. House was larger than my first choice so the additional space was good. However it didn’t feel super clean…walls and doors had seen better days, leather furniture too soft and well worn, bedding tired. The front yard was more dirt than grass and road to property better for trucks than an Audi. I was offered a free additional night but who can change vacation plans so easily when a flight is involved?

Fantastic spot. Great location, beautiful view. Walking distance to everything in town. Great amenities and extras that helped keep the whole gang entertained and relaxed. Family had a great time. Will definitely come back.

The spa alone locked up our choice for this property. Very short walk to restaurants, grocery, and shops. Fully equipped kitchen. Roomy. Lots of TV's if you wish. Basement playroom for kids. Hiking right out the door. Fantastic view. Con: the grill is broken, dirty, with a grease trap laying on the propane tank. Unusable. Disappointing with 3 cooks in the house. Also, good paper products should automatically be supplied at these rates.

PROS: Location! Walked to everything. Hot Tub was big, 6 adults. Wifi and cable to watch the games. Well stocked kitchen, multi-charger for all our devices. CONS: Could use more bath towels. With tubbing at night and showers in the morning, we had to wash towels every day. Bring your own shower soap.

Parking was easy. The home was clean and had sufficient supplies for our short stay. It is a bit quirky and took some time to figure out all the heating/lighting switches. The first impression from the parking space of the back door/entry was less than impressive, as it could use some maintenance/cleaning. However, it all worked well enough. Once inside the home, you forget that and enjoy the stay. We loved the location for visiting the Cape Perpetua area for hiking, and headed north for seal and whale watching. The local trails provided us wit nice early morning walks.

The location is amazing, overlooking the bay and just a very very short walk to restaurants and other establishments in town. The house itself has plenty of amenities - a very well stocked kitchen with good appliances, three bedrooms and 1-1/2 bathrooms, two nice decks including a hot tub on the upper, and plenty of extras like bedding, blankets, etc. There is an unfinished basement where the laundry machines are, plus a couch and TV and a small kids' play area. It's dark and musty smelling, and not someplace where we as adults would want to hang out, but maybe it works for kids or teenagers(?). the house overall does have a rustic, comfortable feel, and they accept dogs, so it's not super high end type of place, but it's really the perfect beach cabin. Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at this house. The view is amazing, it's interesting to watch the bay as the tide goes in and out, such a change! The house is set up nicely, plenty of dishes and pots/pans/containers for cooking. It's also a couple minute walk to restaurants and the market. You can walk around on Hwy 101 (busy road though) and cross the bridge to the beach you look at from the window, or a quick drive, there was plenty of parking when we were there. A very convenient location. The house was quiet, a few cars pass once in a while, but definitely slows down at night. The deck out front was a nice place to relax and watch the water. The hot tub was a great add as well, looking at that same great view. Overall the house was clean and is well maintained. Check in was easy, and communication on getting there and checking in was very fast. We will definitely be back!
