A beautifully presented cottage in peaceful surrounding on a working farm. We couldn't believe how lovely it was. It was light and airy but with a warm cosy feeling too. The photos on VRBO really don't do it justice. The cottage was finished to a high standard and had everything we needed. The welcome gift of traditional Scottish goodies was a lovely touch. We were very lucky with the weather and sat out until late viewing the dark skies and listening to the owls calling. There is another cottage (The Byre) attached to The Stables but you wouldn't know as they are insulated so well.We really didn't want to leave and hope to be back in the future.

This place is a gem. Everything in the „stables“ was well picked and nicely designed. Not too much, not too little- just spot on. Thomas was friendly and it was so lovely experiencing all the animals and pure nature. A great place to stay and we would love to come back.
