We booked the property several months ago as we were attending a family wedding in the area. The accommodation is wonderful. Better than described. Thomas greeted us after our long drive and explained everything to us which was great. There is everything you need at the property and it’s so lovely and quiet. We used the BBQ as the weather was superb. Morrisons delivered our grocery order without any issues so we had everything we needed. There are some lovely drives and the coast is less than an hour away. We received a super welcome pack which we very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend staying at Boghead - it’s super and the hosts have made sure that you have everything you need for a relaxed stay.

One of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed at. Exactly as portrayed. Many great outdoor activities right out your front door. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and basics such as oil, salt, pepper, instant coffee and a nice welcome basket was also provided. Would not hesitate to return.

Amazing place, loved it. From the welcome from Thomas and the biscuits and Prosecco. We were made to feel at home. House was lovely and warm all week. The snow came in and we couldn’t get back up the drive so we had to park in the village Thomas came out and picked me up and took me back to house. He also took us all back to our car across the fields as it had snow so much. Brilliant hosts, house and the views were amazing.
