About this house rental
Lovely 5 bedroom vacation home with over 100ft of frontage on beautiful Hubbard lake. Tucked in on a small private wooded road you'll find this cozy yet spacious cottage.
Cottage sleeps 10-11 and includes beach front fire pit with plenty of seating, viewing patio overlooking the lake, dock with a bench for fishing and ladder into the water, 3 kayaks, paddle board, life jackets, large raft and other toys. Other amenities include a ceramic grill for traditional hardwood charcoal cooking or smoking, big screen TV and more. There is a Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger in the garage that you can use as well.
Enjoy the lake, rent a boat at the local Marina, go hiking, try-out beautiful White Pines golf course, visit local restaurants including Churchhill Point Inn which is just a 5 minute walk from the cabin.
Hubbard lake is a huge (nearly 9,000 acres) crystal clear spring fed lake with a rocky shore but hard sand bottom starting 10-15 feet off shore. Lake can be accessed off the shore; however, accessing the lake from the dock and wearing aqua shoes are recommended. Lake is great for swimming with a shallow depth (
There are two boat launches near the home (North and East).
There are two anchors down with buoys, and two small boat/jet ski sized hoists next to the dock that renters can use.

Our second time there. Our grandkids absolutely love the water activities! The host attended to any requests/questions immediately. Looking forward to coming back next summer!

Other than 2 separate power outages and may flys (which are both out of their control) it was a great spot for our family of 9. Had everything we needed. We were not able to get either grill to work but made the fire pit work for grilling. Had everything we needed and lake and dock were perfect for swimming!

The house is very comfortable and the lake was great. Some trouble with the air conditioning/power but resolved to our satisfaction. We had a great time. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your spot on the lake with us. This place was a nice spot for our 5 night stay. We had two families that stayed, which included a small child. The layout of the home worked great for our group. We were disappointed to be notified about the broken AC the night before our expected arrival, as that was one feature we made sure to verify when booking a house in the month of August. Additionally, we discovered a few items in need of repair on the property, if intended guests include family/children: Wooden swing shown in property pictures was broken and unusable, dining room chair had seat broken through which was covered by a seat cushion, wooden panel on front of lake garage was partially coming off with nails/sharp wood exposed. Also there was no fire extinguisher or readily available smoke or carbon monoxide alarms. Not deal breakers that required immediate attention by the host, but they may consider improving safety in these couple of areas. It was a nice spot. The lake was great. The lake trampoline was a hit. And the amenities and toys/kayaks/life vests included in the lake garage were all greatly appreciated. We did have a great time!
