White House Beach Access:
The White House Cabin can be seen in the yellow circled area on the map image attached in Photos. This cabin has access to both of our red starred beaches, the blue circle indicates our other cabin locations. Please note that a portion of the black shaded area, although sandy and leading to the beach, is occupied currently by some docks and large equipment from the neighboring Marina.
Please review our rental agreement when booking for all the information for booking.
Refundable Damage/Cleaning Security deposit will be refunded after departure as long as guidelines in our rental agreement are followed.
* Please note this cabin allows a maximum of 2 dogs. The Pet fee when pet is selected charges for only 1 pet. Please let us know if you will be bringing more than one pet, up to 2 pets is allowed for a $15.00 fee/pet/night. This extra fee will be added upon request before or after booking.
PARKING:
- 3 parking spots
- Please contact us if you plan to have more vehicles to discuss extra vehicle parking
- Please ensure that your vehicle(s) are parked at the cabin you are staying at, and be kind to not park in front of another cabin's view of the beach/water if possible.
- REMEMBER: Our Cabins are on the beach, and some areas of our lot are sandy and can sometimes make it difficult for small or lower cars to park in some locations. If you have any concerns or difficulty upon arrival, please contact us for assistance.
VRBO CANCELLATION POLICY: (will be honored for all VRBO Bookings)
BOOKINGS - DAY AFTER LABOR DAY, UP TO AND INCLUDING FATHER'S DAY:
Refunds (less a $25 cancellation fee per cabin) are only able to be issued in the case that the cabin can be rebooked for the duration of your cancelled reservation.
You will be held financially responsible for 100% of your reservation if you cancel at any time.
BOOKINGS FOR SUMMER - DAY AFTER FATHER'S DAY, UP TO AND INCLUDING LABOR DAY:*
Refunds (less a $25 cancellation fee per cabin) are only guaranteed to be issued if the cancellation is made before February 1st (of your reservation year).
You will be held financially responsible for 100% of your reservation if you cancel after Feb 1st (of your reservation year).

We stayed for a week with a group of 7. Plus 2 dogs. We had a great time. House was clean and had plenty of room for our group to spread out. It was really nice that my mom had her own bedroom and bath on the other side of the house. The kids could play cards and video games and not keep her awake. A daily or 2x a day visit to the store next door for ice cream was Awesome. The private beach was a short walk, which we needed after the ice cream. It was also a very nice to beach to float in the water and beach our jet skis while we hung out with family. Having the gas grill was great to cook out on. A great location 8 min drive to Walmart if u forgot anything. Downtown shopping was nice too.We would definitely rent again

Nicely furnished, great view! Party store next door for snacks and beverages. Two great living areas to accommodate lots of guests. I’d use it again even for smaller groups!

This is a very old house that has been very nicely renovated on the inside with very excellent fixtures and decor. The inside is quite large and would be perfect for a large group. All bathrooms are on the main floor; no bathroom on the second level. The cleanliness was outstanding. The exterior of the house looks ramshackle. We weren’t sure it was the correct house. No address numbers or name posted and so so diskempt. The house is badly in need of renovation on the outside, including badly overgrown shrubbery, rotting steps and deck, and mostly sand for a yard, not the grass shown in the photos. The house is not “serene” as described. It is encircled by Jerry’s Marina and sits right on the edge of the marina parking lot. Each morning trucks pulled in and parked right next to the bedroom windows. So loud. Our view from the other side of the house out the dining room windows was old docks stacked high into the air and covered at least a block of the lot. The view from the front of the house was toward Lake Huron but you couldn’t really see it. There is a small body of water directly in front of the house where the marina parks their pontoon and other boat rentals as well as wave runners which are pulled up onto the lot. The shrubbery also blocks a lot of the view. The marina, however, is convenient for ice, snacks, firewood and ice cream as their store is only a few feet away. There is no laundry in the house although posted. Good location so close to state park and town.
