Perched on a cliff high above the Guadalupe River is the picturesque Clutter Falls Retreat. This custom built river retreat offers spectacular hill country views with soothing sounds of the rapids and falls below. Clutter Falls Retreat offers two houses the Main House and the Guest House each property offers privacy and is reserved separately. The Main House located in New Braunfels offers a perfect location for a fabulous family getaway.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths, Clutter Falls- Main House will accommodate up to 8 guests. Guests will relish in the inviting hot tub for an evening under the stars.*This property overlooks the Guadalupe River but DOES NOT have River access*
This splendid two story property has everything one could need for a relaxing vacation. With carefully chosen pieces this home has a rustic upscale river home feel. Appreciate the beautiful views of the river from almost every angle in this home. Guests will find plenty of room for everyone with three spacious bedrooms and two and half generous baths.
Guests will find this kitchen inviting with a full gourmet kitchen, preparing your favorite meals will be effortless. Admire the beautiful countertops and rich leather bar seating. Clutter Falls' lavish kitchen opens up to a stately dining area with seating for six, and a grand rock fireplace, the perfect space for hosting meals with family and friends.
Relax in the living space overlooking gorgeous hill country views. Expertly decorated with rustic and leather furnishings giving this river house a modern clean feel. Take in the breathtaking views of the Guadalupe River on the rich leather sofa or enjoy watching television on the large flat screen.
Refresh in one of the three luxurious bedrooms each with specifically upscale pieces and refined linens for a comfortable night's sleep. The downstairs master hosts a king bed with an attached bathroom with a shower. Upstairs offers two bedrooms, one bedroom with a queen and one bedroom with a full bed. Freshen up in a full bath with shower upstairs.
Clutter Falls offers an ideal outdoor entertainment area for family and friends. With multiple outdoor decks and plenty of seating, guests will enjoy beautiful views while dining al fresco. Relax on the welcoming porch swing with soothing sounds of the river. For an evening under the stars, enjoy an inviting hot tub located on the lower level deck.
Looking for an outing for the day, Clutter Falls is less than a mile from the historic Gruene Hall, enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. Gruene offers an outdoor market, wine tasting, and many delicious restaurants. Only minutes away is New Braunfels with plenty to do: float the beautiful Guadalupe River, rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting. Visit Wimberley and spend the day shopping in the downtown square, or swimming, and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, Zip Line Adventure, or Blue Hole regional Park offers swimming and nature trails. Canyon Lake is only 30 minutes away and there is plenty of outdoor fun to be found. The James C Curry Nature preserve is great for hiking, or biking trails. We absolutely loved this house! Perfect for closeness to Gruene and river tubing facilities. Gorgeous views and you can hear the water rushing in the river rapids right below you from both outdoor decks. Like our own private oasis 5 minutes from everything we wanted to see and do!

Had an interesting start. We showed up and the AC was not working. The management group had someone out within an hour. However, the person they called didn't have parts to fix it and told us he was going to dinner and then would come back and fix it. (I would love the AC guy a one star) but that wasn't the home owners fault in my opinion. House is super nice and beautiful view. The only recommendation I would have is to trim the trees getting into the place. We all drive 3/4 ton trucks and scratched the top of our trucks because of all the low hanging limbs.

This is a nice property. Awesome location with a great view. We had a fantastic time while we were there. However, the house needed a serious scrubbing. I’m not one to complain but when the couple we were with mentioned it I knew I wasn’t being picky. It was actually a bit embarrassing. Other than the cleanliness of the house it was an awesome place to stay. Sandra Hall
