The most spectacular property in Playa! El Taj Ocean features a Bali & Tahitian theme with 40 luxury units, with either private balconies, patios or roof decks. Some have outdoor kitchens.

It was also chosen as one of the top luxury hotels in Mexico, in addition to one of the trendiest hotels. Playa del Carmen has no other hotel that has won all these top three categories. Great location (on the beach, 1.5 blocks from 5th Ave., and in the Premier Zone of Playa). This is a beautiful property with a private beach club (Asi Beach) with food and beverages service. Guests of ours also have complimentary use of the nicest fitness center in Playa del Carmen, The Gym, at Porto Playa, 1 block away.
341 is the largest and nicest 1 bedroom in El Taj Ocean and closest to the beach. Ocean views from patio. kitchen and living room. It is closest to the beach and only 1 bedroom condo to have a large private balcony off the master bedroom as well as a terrace off the kitchen and living room.
Property is a boutique condo/hotel with the advantages and spaciousness of a condo and services of a hotel.
You’ll be able to watch the sunrise over the water. There are marble floors from the terrace, throughout the unit. The high ceilings and private balcony enhances the viewing pleasure of the Caribbean setting.
Guests are welcome at Asi Beach Club, located onsite, and have complimentary use of The Gym, located 1 block away at Porto Playa. .
The large master bedroom has a view of the water and beach, 'heavenly' king-sized bed, flat screen television, closets, and safe.
The living room has windows facing the beach and water plus two huge sliding glass doors leading out to the private terrace. There is a 9 foot long built in couch, large flat screen television, DVD Player, and stereo system.
There are smart televisions and wireless internet. The kitchen has everything you need including a full sized stainless steel refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, cookware, eating utensils, granite countertops, and more. The bathroom has wall to wall marble.
Sit outside on either the private balcony off the master bedroom or the private terrace off the kitchen and living room. Listen to the crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea below you and feel the soft Gulf breezes. Tap into the wireless internet while you sit outside with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

Our condo was beautiful! It was luxurious and spacious with stunning ocean views. There was lush tropical foliage that provided privacy and tranquility. So relaxing. We loved the easy walk to 5th Ave with fantastic shopping, restaurants and night life. The staff was outstanding and catered to our every need. Will definitely be back!

We have been lucky enough to stay in this condo multiple times while in Playa del Carmen and are always happy to return! The condo has everything you could need - and the location can’t be beat. El Taj is tucked a couple blocks off of 5th Ave, right on the beach. You can sit on the front - or back - patio and hear the ocean all while being within a 5 minute walk from great food, drinks, shopping - and diving! This condo couldn’t be more convenient for people looking to dive, as dive boats leave from the beach. Having access to the beach and the restaurant/ bar right on the beach and the pool is also a huge perk. As with any beach front property on the Caribbean, sargassum and the beach coming and going are a part of life - and a reminder of how powerful Mother Nature is and how much humans impact our planet. Overall, cannot recommend the condo enough - can’t wait to return!

Wonderful location. Just note there is not a beach to lay on or walk on.
