Porto Playa was awarded the Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor several years. Featuring a tropical architectural influence with 21 luxury units, Porto Playa is set in an oasis reminiscent of a rain forest. It has a very airy and open design inside a private sanctuary with lush tropical plants and flowers and gushing waterfalls. There is even a sun-drenched roof-top Olympic length swimming pool, two separate Jacuzzis.
Condo 219 is on the 2nd floor overlooking the gardens and pools.
Guests at any of our properties are welcome at Asi Beach Club, located at El Taj Ocean, have complimentary use of The Gym located at Porto Playa, complimentary Wi-Fi, daily maid service, discounts at 3 restaurants and more.
Porto Playa is located at the corner of First Ave and Calle 16. 100 steps from the beach.
Porto Playa is a boutique condo hotel with 21 condos with numerous amenities including maid service, complimentary use of The Gym, (located in Porto Playa), concierge service, restaurants, beach club, spa and more. Porto Playa has one of the best pools in Playa del Carmen: upper and lover level jacuzzi.
Unit 219 is one of the largest 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo's on the more desirable second floor with large, private balcony with tables and chairs for your enjoyment. Have coffee in the morning on the balcony overlooking the pools. Great Gulf Breeze and a glimpse of the Gulf Waters. Flat screen Televisions in living room and both bedrooms, large bathrooms have glassed in showers for two. Marble floors and counter tops.
Master bedroom has pillow-top, king-sized bed, and french doors that open to a private balcony. 2nd bedroom can be set up as twin beds or pillow-top, king sized bed.

Clean and well secured establishment. We really enjoyed our time at this property and would stay again. Check in was moved off site and would have appreciated a heads up on this as we were completely lost when we arrived. Thankfully other guests directed us where to go.

This was a perfect place to stay. The condo itself was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The complex was so pretty and peaceful. We loved the pool; access to The Gym was easy; and the location overall was convenient. We would stay again in a heartbeat. (Also, the housekeeping staff were kind and helpful)

The complex is in the perfect location. And the pool and grounds are beautiful. It was very kid friendly. Check in was a breeze, daily maid service and loved the gym. It’s a nice combo of condo with hotel amenities. Grocery store was in walking distance and kitchen had what you needed to make meals. Overall a fantastic stay for the family.
Only thing that left me wanting was the Beach Club location. The beach where it’s located is blocked by boat parking, so not swimming friendly for the kids. If you are an adult who doesn’t care about going in the water, the chairs are nice. But we had to wander about 200 yards south and find chairs to pay for.
