About this house rental
Want to stay at a charming get-away in beautiful central Wisconsin? Relax and unwind in a cottage type home on the Crystal River in a rural wooded 2.4 acre lot. The cottage is located 7 minutes away from The Chain of Lakes’ public beach (Taylor Lake public boat launch is 4 miles away) . Enjoy roasting marshmallows in the fire pit by the river or putting your feet in the water while sitting on our private dock. From it, you can Kayak downstream to a public take-out (1¼ miles away). Guests have use of six kayaks (one is a double) and two bicycles. The cottage sleeps 10. It is clean and well maintained with 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry room, and a rec room with games and pool table making fun available even on rainy days. A deck with patio furniture overlooks the river too. If you are looking to escape from the city life and want to enjoy spending time on the property or exploring Waupaca’s Chain of Lakes, dining and entertainment, then this is the place! And it’s only a 3-hour drive from Chicago, 2 hours from Milwaukee, or 1 ½ hours from Madison. Did I say we are out in the country, very dark at night great for star gazing.

Beautiful setting! The house is spacious and provides privacy for a large group. The kitchen is well equipped. Coffee and a variety of teas are provided.My family enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful location
